Tell the rat you’re sorry

“Wait!” you say to the charging rat. “I’m sorry!”
The rat stops. Its little pink nose is nearly touching yours. You hold your breath. The rat twitches its whiskers.
“You should be sorry,” it says.
It hops off the chunk of wood and lands neatly by your feet.
“Get rid of that thing,” the rat says. “You could hurt someone, swinging a big stick around like that.”
Do you:
- Obey the rat and throw away your club
- Bash the rat’s brains out while you have the chance
- Claim that the club is a walking stick
