Even in a rural, smaller town, your family was the poorest. You lived in the trailer park and even though your mom did her best to make ends meet you always had to come to school in secondhand (or third or fourth or fifth) clothes. You are always looking for a way to make money and hope to be rich one day and take care of your mom.
You wake up and your mom has already gone to work. You shower, get dressed, and grab your backpack. You need to get yourself to school and it's too far to walk.
