I walk away and pour myself a drink.
"You give up so easily."
"No, I stop when I know that stopping is the only way to win. I passed the test, didn't I?"
Darren nods and smiles proudly.
"Okay, I guess the lesson is over then."
"Not quite. What do you know about Aphrodite's VIP section?"
"I know people talk about it. Why? Is it as wild as people claim?"
"So you're curious?"
"It might help me do my job."
"Well, well. I am shocked. What happened to the shy girl who walked into my office a few days ago?"
"She's got a job to do. And I'm a woman, not a girl."
