You've gotten out of tougher odds. Even in this state, you technically survived. Your memories are more or less in tact, even if you aren't free to do what you want. Maybe one day you will be, but for now, your only choice is to carry out your orders. Leaving out the back of the sewers, you find yourself in a waste dump outside the city.

It runs into a river, and across that, is a wild forest full of bandit camps and goblin clans. The flesh golem lumbers quietly behind you as you pull your pale, undead self from the dump and start to swim across the river. Normally you'd be tired in minutes, studying magic doesn't give you much time to work out your body, but you no longer feel exhaustion. You wonder if that's really a good thing or not, but in any case, you make it across the water with little trouble. The golem is slower, but you wait a few minutes and the two are you are off again to search for goblins.

You cast a spell to detect the animal life around you. Some deer scatter as they pick up your scent, and birds flock around you, mistaking you for a corpse they can feast on once you stop moving. It takes half a day before you come across signs of goblins. Short spears and daggers, fashioned to fit smaller humanoid creatures, lay on the ground.

Some kind of battle. You pick up a knife to inspect it, but it's attached to a string. A trap! Nets fly from the trees and wrap around you and the golem, and with your spell, you begin to see dozens of goblins descending onto your position. They'll arrive in about ten minutes if you don't do anything.
