Chapter One: Blackout
You stand, staring at the TV screen. It can't be true, you think, and yet it seems like it is. The reporter stands on screen, talking about what the hell just happened.
REPORTER: At 3:00 A.M. a man walking about saw this here stone. His wife was with him and saw it split open, revealing a strange sight.
WOMAN: There was a strange, purple glow, and before I knew it, my husband went mad with a headache and tried to kill me.
REPORTER: This isn't the only time this happened. Reports in China, Russia, Brazil, and Africa have also been filed. What this has to do with anything larger remains to be seen.
There has to be a logical explanation for this. It's not like you to believe this crap. But... if there is someone out there... It's getting later. You shouk probably lock your doors and windows, but it might just be paranoia. You can just relax, take a nap, and Forget about the news. It's all just crap anyways, right?
