The assistant took his time to finish his cup of coffee before saying:
"Yeah, it seems so. That's great, you can now go by yourself to see what happens. I'm already late for my next appointment today, so I will be leaving now."
He made a grateful thanks to your mother for the cofee and took a look back at you when reaching the entry door, and says:
"I almost forgot... For information, we gave you 10 000 pokedollars for the mission, that are already available to use with your pokephone. Use it well! Bye people and thanks again for the nice welcome I had!"
Then, he leaved the house.
You took your Howlet companion in your hands, then dropped him on your shoulder. You feels his claws grip your shoulder with strength, but without forcing too much like if the bird was trying to avoid to hurt you.
He is now in perfect balance, and you have the feeling that this position is going to be the usual one during your travels.
You get up, and go to the windows to look at the lab assistant. He trows a pokeball on the ground, at the middle of the street.
A pidgeot emerge from the light around the opened ball. The bird is really big, around 2.5 meters height. You are pretty sure that most of the Pidgeot shouldn't be this tall, but if the assistant have it, it should be for a good reason.
You don't have to wait for long before saying the reason of having a big feathered pokemon with you: the assistant was climbing on the back of the Pidgeot, and once he was on the top of the back of the bird, the pokemon was moving his fat wings and starts to fly off.
He disappeared of your field of view a few seconds later.
Looking to someone having the possibility to fly on a pokemon to go wherever he wanted was raising a feeling of jealousy. But now that you adventure is starting, you think that you will maybe become able to do that too, one day.
