You replies while shaking his hand with energy:

"Yeah, it's me ! Are you one of the professor Chen's lab assistant ?"

He yamn, putting back his hands into his blouse's pockets:

"Yes, and you probably already know why I'm here today , right ? It's not that I would mind to speak with you all the day, but the professor is having a lot of urgent tasks that require my help and I don't want to make him to be overloaded by work, so let's make it fast, OK?"

You are quite disappointed that your first impression of the assistant isn't ad good as you were hoping for it to be , but after all, it's normal for an assistant of a famous rechearcher like the professor Chen to be really occupied, so you try to looks how less unhappy as you can:

"I... I understand. I'm ready. What is the goal of my mission and how am I supposed to do it ?"

During this time, you mother was going to the kitchen to make a coffee for the lab assistant. You can tell than he is really tired and he probably did not slept since at least two days, only by looking at his bloody-injected blues eyes, that have a lot of pain to stay open.

He begins to move his two hands inside his pockets like if he was searching something inside, but without looking at it, continue to talk to you:

"Well, you seems motivated. Great! It's quite simple... We recently heard that a strange ghost did appeared in Lavender Town.

As you may already know, this city contains a graveyard tower in the honour of the dead pokemons of trainers and civilians. The ghost was seen inside the tower.

The citizens were worried and asked us to take a look. But we are already over-busy with other things, and the police tried to find something, without success, so we contacted you."

After taking his breath a few seconds, he continue the conversation:

"As it didn't made any real victim for the moment, but itmay be interesting for our research depending of the trouble, we wanted you to go to Lavender Town to see what is happening. Usually, only some gastly and a few haunters are wandering inside this area.

Who knows, maybe it's a new pokemon that we never saw before... Recently, a lot of new pokemons did appears here in Kanto. Some of them are coming from ocean's island that we already explored, but some of them are totally unknows."

A mystery, an investigation to do, a possibility to encounter a new pokemon and explore a part of the country ... You could not be more pleased actually.

A big smile appears on your face and you fail to keep your calm much longer. You nod, wanting more details, remembering everything to get your job well done.

He continues:

"We want you to enter in the graveyard tower to resolve this mystery, try to figure what happened and if a specific pokemon was involded, get as much information as you can. If the danger is too important, please don't try to be a hero and call us to ask for help.

Before you ask me how you are supposed to contact us if you need to, I will give you two things to help you in this task. And I just retrieved the first one."

Putting his left hand away from the blouse's pocket, he give you an electrical device, looking to a small smartphone.

"Here , take this. It's the newest model of Pokephone that we have created. It contain multiple functionnalities and most of the devices that the old trainers were needing, and now are mostly combined into this one thing."
