"Chris? What are you doing with that amulet?" You ask nervously.
"Amulet?" He laughs. "I just found this thing on the counter. Is it yours?"
Chris had been your best friend since middle school and the two of you were thrilled when you found out you'd be working at the same place. You had always been more popular though as Chris was often the target of bullying at your old school but had since grown stronger.
"Yes it is mine. I need it back now."
"Why's it so important?" He said, clutching the amulet, unknowingly activating it.
"It's crazy man. It lets you control people if you squeeze it and say something. I've tested it out on two people so far and I made my roommate and our boss my bitches."
"Really? That seems very unlikely. Let's see." He said, fiddling with the amulet. Punch yourself." You move your fist back and deck yourself in the face. "Oh shit! What the hell man? I didn't mean... wait. You actually hit yourself. Hop on one foot while patting your head." You do the ridiculous dance and and he laughs. "Ok man, stop, stop. Well shit. This wasn't what I was expecting when I woke up this morning. Now listen buddy, I'm gonna have to borrow this for a little bit. Your ok with this right?" He says with the amulet.
"Yeah." You respond.
"Don't worry, I'll give it back but there's things I need to do first."
