"My apologies for waking you, My Lord Prince..." Grymyr states as he enters your room; he's always been one for titles and formalities, though you have not. "I had hoped that I would finally be able to get to you this morning before those blockheaded soldiers did. I had done some research as you had asked, and if the Lord Prince forgives my boldness, I borrowed from the coffers to acquire this for you..." Grymyr removes two large, leatherbound books and places them on your reading desk with a great thud. Grymyr stands to the side so you may inspect them for yourself.

The lettering on the outside glows faintly in a fantastic blueish hue. One reads Discrete Magic: Thought Made Real While the other reads "Mage-Lords: The Glory of the Forgotten Wizard Kings"

"These tomes, if they contain what I suspect, should contain some wonderful secrets My Lord Prince, ones that will certainly help you defend yourself and your Kingdom, without all of the fuss of weapons and armor."

"Thank you Grymyr. These look amazing" As you open one and begin glancing at the pages. Despite their age on the exterior, they are both immaculately kept on the inside.

"Well, if it pleases you My Lord Prince, I will take my leave, and ensure that none shall bother you unless you deem it necessary.

You nod quietly, and Grymyr exits the room. You sit down at the reading desk. Your head and body still hurt, but having your own spellbooks, ones even Grymyr have not looked into, are make you want to work through the pain

You can commit to reading without the pain
