In this story, you play as a high school freshman male, who shall remain nameless throughout the story, when the zombie apocalypse begins. There is no goal exactly as there's not a lot of limits to what you can do. The general goal is normally to survive as long as possible, however, mainly because the apocalypse would be extremely traumatic, there are options to kill yourself. There are two important characters that will really mean anything in the first part of the story; the rest will be described as you meet them.

Kayla is considered very smart. She's attentive and a quick learner, though not much for talking. Tess is also considered very smart, however you don't quite buy it. She seems smart enough, but from what you've seen she's just another rebellious teen anxious to be free from society.
