Chapter 3: When Tyranitar Attacks
-
I hate caves. Remember when I hurt my foot in that cave? Well, today when me and Brock were walking through a dark cave, and getting some really good experience for our Pokemon by battling Rhyhorns, three things happened. One, Brock caught an Abra. Two, I caught a Rhyhorn. Three, we got defeated by a really strong Golem. More like three Golems. Ouch. Luckily, we finally got out, but Brock decided he wanted to sleep. I looked up and noticed it was almost midnight. We had to find a hotel in Hearthome City. There were three of them in town. "Poo Motel" "Fancy Hotel" (which costed over 100000 each... hour.) and the third was the "Hearthome Hotel" which is the one we went to. I saw Kent inside, and he smiled. "Yo, Chris" he said, "it's been a while. Battle?" I was really tired and didn't wanna do it at all. I looked at my feet and rubbed my eyes. I decided to do it, because it's training. Plus, I wanted to test out my new Rhyhorn. Brock said the Rhyhorn I caught was a rare breed of Rhyperior which normally do not live in the wild. I threw Rhyhorns Pokeball. Kent snagged a Pokeball from his bag, and threw it as well. I saw a... a Magby. I wondered how to approach this, ground or rock.

I had a horrible feeling Kent was hiding something, because something about his new Magby seemed off. I decided to go for the attack. "Rhyhorn, use Take Down! Rhyhorn charged, and I squinted, because either Magby was disintegrating, or I was going crazy. Magby was melting into a blob of purple goop, and then it hit me like a rock in the teeth. "Ditto." I said out loud. By the time I realized it, Ditto sloshed to the side and Rhyhorn skidded to a stop. Kent laughed. "Did you really think I would use a fire type Pokemon against a rock type!?" He doubled over laughing. He jumped to his feet and said between laughs, "Ditto, use Transform." In the blink of an eye, another Rhyhorn flopped to life on the battlefield. It was then that I regretted teaching Rhyhorn a fighting type move, because Kent obviously planned to use it against me. "Ditto" he smirked, "Use rock smash!!!" I hated watching it, Rhyhorn skidding backward after hit by its own move.

The story now becomes a journal entry type thing. Chapter one: Insanity

I was so happy I almost died. I felt as if I was gonna burst out of my clothes and go around shrieking. I got a Pokemon. Just then, my best friend Kent, rushed through the door. "Hey Christopher, you got one already?" I nodded, and stepped away so he could then pick one. He closed his eyes and snatched one. The professor nodded and kicked us out. I quietly said, "Want to have a battle?" He nodded quickly and immediately threw his. I saw that he had chosen Gible, and I was a little jealous but I still did not regret grabbing Beldum. I sent out Beldum, and I was about to have my very first battle. All I could think about was my journey about to unfold. All of my life continued after this one small battle... I casually said, "Beldum, use Tackle." I was surprised when I saw Gible go flying, then I remembered that Beldums are made of metal, and if you got slugged with metal, you might go flying. Gible began to glow brown, and it unleashed a spout of sand, which spewed to the ground. At first I thought it was hurt, but then I saw it's dead, red eyes. That Gible was MAD. Kent smiled and barked, "Gible use Tackle!" Beldum flew into a tree and rushed back with a big scratch on its metal body. I said, "Use Psybeam." Gible levitated about half a foot off the ground then looked like it got a nasty headache. It dropped on the ground and Kent yelled, "Use Sand Attack!!" I saw Beldum looked a little... weird... Beldum was moving around in all directions, bumping into everything... I said, "Beldum use Take Down." For a second, I blacked out but I saw it again two seconds later... There was a big psychic wave blocking the area were Gible was, and Beldum had charged into... I blacked out and awoke yet again. I saw Beldum lying on the ground, and Gible was fainted. Kent shrugged, "Guess you won Christopher. But we better get our Pokemon the the Pokemon center." Everything after that is kind of a blur. Me and Kent were running to the Pokemon center, Gible was fainted and I was lugging a big metal bar with eyes to the Pokemon center... I remember walking out of the Pokemon center with Kent, Beldum, and Gible. Kent said sadly, "Well I gotta go on my journey... Bye man, I'll see you in Jubilife city." I punched him and we laughed... Then he walked away. I decided to do the same. I walked away with Beldum by my side. Beldum look at me weirdly. I smiled and said, "Hey there... I am Christopher. Your new trainer." Beldum sort of, maybe, possibly, Flew into the air and shrieked, "Bel el!" I thought he was mad, but then he came down and looked happy. I looked around... There was a large ocean but I had no swimming Pokemon... A grassy path, which I hear most trainers go to to get to Jubilife, then I spotted a mountain. It was more of a hill... I decided to go up it. I walked up it for a few minutes, then I looked down, and saw the end of the grassy path. I tripped and rolled down the hill, crashing into someone... I opened my eyes to see nobody, but then I saw three men, one smaller then the other two. I got got closer and realized the small man was being mugged! I ran up and kicked one of the bigger guys in the... I really shouldn't say, and the other one threw a poke ball at me, revealing a Shinx. The other one stood up and his veins were bulging with anger... I was a little scared when the second one threw a poke all, revealing a Luxray!! I was very spooked, because a Luxray was way out of my league. It was full evolved, and I had fought no more then three battles. There was only one thing I could do-It was NOT running away, I am way awesomer then that- I sent out Beldum. I then heard someone walking from behind me, and I prayed it was not another one of these big guys... I saw Cynthia. Cynthia was the Ex-Champion of Sinnoh, and to be honest, I was shocked to see her here. She looked at the muggers then at me and she smiled at me. "Need a hand?" She asked. I nodded, gaping. She threw a Pokemon, and a Glaceon emerged. I told Beldum to use Psybeam, but since I was still gaping it was more of a, "Bedul, uke hibeem!" Beldum used Psybeam, hitting Luxray. Cynthia smiled and said "Use Sheer Cold." All I remember after that was freezing coldness, and hearing the men running away... I opened my eyes, covered in a heap of snow. I saw that Beldum was frozen and the men and their Pokemon seemed to have disappeared. Cynthia was gone. I picked up a stick and broke Beldum free of the ice. The smaller man who had been getting mugged ran up to me. "Thank you boy, you saved my life!!," I just walked away... "Happy to help..." I walked into Jubilife City and marveled at how big it was. This place was at least three times bigger then Twinleaf and Sandgem COMBINED!!! I looked over to see a guy walking away from a Pokemon that looked like it was dieing. I ran over and cursed under my breath, "Your not a trainer..." I rushed the Pokemon over to the center, and realized it was a... a... A POLIWAG!? I was amazed! Those are rare, and I had no clue how that trainer had gotten it. I left it at the Pokemon center and came back later to see it jumping on the counter. It looked at me and smiled, as if saying thanks. I scanned it and saw it had a rare move. I walked up and tapped it with a poke ball. It went in without hesitation. I caught a Poliwag. I walked out of the Pokemon center and bumped into Kent. He looked as full of energy as ever. Before I knew it, we were on the battlefield. People stopped to look, and soon the bleachers were full of cheering people. Kent sent out a Combee. I sent out Poliwag, knowing it knew ice shard. I used Ice shard, and Combee fainted. I was amazed at how easy that was... Then he sent out Gible, and something happened... Two men stopped our battle. It was the two men from earlier, and they had a photo of an asteroid on their shirts. They said they were gonna kill us, and sent out a Drifloon and a Gastly. I kept Poliwag out, and Kent kept Gible out. I told Poliwag to use Ice shard on Drifloon. Drifloon used Sucker Punch on Gible, and Gastly used Gas Plume, which put Gible to sleep. "Poliwag use Water Gun!" It hit Drifloon. Drifloon used Peck on Gible, and Gible fainted!!! I used Ice shard and Drifloon fainted, and hit Gastly, who also fainted. Kent used a revive on Gible and one on Combee. The two men said, "Do not mess with us you teenage punks, Team Comet is gonna use the power of the Three Champions to rule Sinnoh!" They ran off, and one dropped a piece of paper. I snatched it off the ground, and saw a photo of a trainer with one of those really rare hats that you gotta win in a contest in Kanto, and a Pikachu on his shoulder. Two letters were above his photo that said, "T.L"... Another photo was of a man with spiky black hair, who had a green and orange jacket on. Above him said, "T.S" and there was one more of a girl with orange hair, and the letters above her said "T.B"... I stuffed it in my pocket, and Kent said sadly, "I better get going. Bye." I decided it was time to go. I saw a bike shop and decided to nab one before I left. I bought a bike, and rode into the caves that connected the place to Oreburgh.

ABOUT 30 WILD POKEMON LATER...

"I finally made it out..." I gasped and breathed in the fresh air. I did some training at the nearby ranch, and walked over to the coal mines. I saw a few workers, and I saw a few Machokes working too... I saw a man in the mine who looked... no... Who WAS very familiar! I ripped out the paper with the photos of the three people... It was the guy with spiky hair! I ran over and said, "Hey, who are you?" The man looked at me and said, "I'm Brock. Who are you?" I shook my head. "That does not matter." I showed him the picture. "Are you involved with a 'Team Comet'?" He shook his head and looked at the picture again. "Hey those are my friends." He said. I looked at the other two people. "Why does Team Comet want anything to do with you three?" He looked down. "I do not know, but I did once fight a 'Team Rocket' and a 'Team Galactic'..." I motioned at the picture. "What are their names? Were are they?" He looked at me and said, "Their name are Ash and Misty, and Misty is staying somewhere in the Battle Frontier here in Sinnoh, and the last I talked to Ash he was on a ship that was heading to Kalos." I frowned. "Well I heard one of the Team Comet grunts say that they were gonna capture you three and use you to rule Sinnoh..." Brock smiled and said, "Well maybe I can help stop them." He stood up and said, "Can I accompany you on your journey?" I looked at him. It was really a tough choice. The guy seemed nice and he surely could help me but I was not sure if I could trust him... "Fine" I said. I walked out of the mine and he followed me. He said, "You should challenge the gym." He said. I thought about it, and it was not a bad idea... I walked in and a man with a red helmet came over to me and said, "I am Roark, the gym leader. You here to battle?" I said yes, and Brock bought a hot dog, a soda and some popcorn-not joking, there was a concession stand- and he watched from the sidelines. Roark sent out an Onix. I threw Beldums Pokeball. I thought hard, and I knew Onix was a rock type, and a ground type... so the most effective move I could use would be... BINGO! "Beldum use Mud Shot!" Onix screeched and tried to shake it's head to get the sand out of it's eyes. Roark bellowed "ONIX, use Take down!" Onix could barely see, so I was guessing it would not hit Beldum, and I was half right. It hit something but it was not Beldum. Onix raised it's head and smashed it into the ground, and a huge cloud of dust went everywere. I could not see anything for about four minutes, and after the dust was gone I was blinded. I rubbed my eyes and my vision came back slowly. I saw Brock, coughing and yelling because his hot dog was ruined, I saw Roark, looking mad, I saw Beldum shaking its body and the last thing I saw saw was Onix, lying on the ground, defeated. Now I knew why Roark was upset, but it did not look like it was over yet. Roark took another Pokeball and threw it, and a Shieldon emerged. The Shieldon looked a lot stronger then a regular one, so I looked and remembered that Shieldon is a Rock and Steel type! That meant Fighting type moves would do the trick perfectly, but Beldum knew no Fighting type moves... I had to stick with Steel. "Beldum, use Metal Hit!" Shieldon dodged. Roark laughed and shouted, "Shieldon use take down!" Beldum went flying and smashed into the battlefield.I knew that I had to harm Shieldon, but... it blocks physical attacks, but maybe if I hit him with something hard enough... "That's it!" I thought aloud. "I'll ram metal, with metal. Beldum, use Take Down!!!" Beldum charged at Shieldon, and I saw fire whirling around Beldum when I heard the huge crash... I blacked out.

Chapter 2: The Story Awakens

I awoke to a empty room with nothing but machines, and a few chairs. Two chairs were right next to my bedside. I saw Brock, and Kent. Kent looked at me. "You are finally awake dude! You have been out for three hours!" I rubbed my head and looked down. "So... I lost my Gym battle?" Brock smiled. "Actually, when the dust was gone, Beldum was out cold, but so was Shieldon. Roark was about to declare that you lost but then I remembered: You have a Poliwag!" Kent had two of Roarks gym badges and handed one to me. I looked at Kent. "You beat Roark too?" I asked. Kent laughed. "Yeah but I did not do half as good as you did." I got out of the bed and Kent left to do some training. Brock got up. "You ready to go?" I nodded, and after we got outside I grabbed a apple out of my bag to snack on, because I had not eaten since Twinleaf Town. I guess Brock decided he was hungry too because he got out one of those fancy portable pans that cook stuff while you walk around. He soon had a pan of biscuits, and ate a few and put the rest in a bowl to save for later. I walked over to another cave, encountering about 50 wild Pokemon on the way, which actually gave my Pokemon some great training. I stumbled into the cave, tripping and cracking my foot on a rock. I grabbed my foot, trying to hold back tears. I was in agony, but I did not want to slow down. I limped through to the other opening which was higher in the cave. I tripped and came out through the other side. I reached Floaroma Town!!! I saw Kent walking into the Floaroma Town Hotel. I hear in Floaroma town they do not let anyone leave at night, because if you do Drifblim will carry you away. I looked at the sky and it was really dark. I had to get to the hotel. Me and Brock ran inside and asked for two rooms. The lady at the desk said that would cost 400Poke, so we payed half and half. Brock went to his room and I did the same. I couldn't sleep because I slept for 6 hours that day at the hospital. I walked outside and saw the gates closed. All the houses were locked and I heard the hotel door close behind me. I walked back, but the hotel door was locked. I was locked out, with nowhere to stay. I decided I had to just wait and do some training until light. I walked into an open path in the forest, which soon lead to a large field which was full of Combee. I noticed two figures, and one of them had a hood on and the other one didn't. I saw a Team Comet logo on ones jacket. I ran over and tackled him, and the other one started punching me, and they were heavy hitting, but what made me MAD was when they stepped on my fractured foot. I got up in agony, and shoved them HARD. I guess I shoved a little too hard because they flew about six feet, and landed in a puddle of mud. They both got out a Pokeball, and stood up. The hooded one said, "Should have stayed indoors tonight kid." I was scared, but then I heard a noise. It sounded odd and was like, "bee boo ba ba beee!" I looked up and saw three Drifblim heading right for us. I flinched and opened my eyes to see the three of us in the air being carried by Drifblim. The hooded man took his hood off, and I was shocked at what I saw. I yelled at the top of my lungs, "You are Ash Ketchu-" but I didn't finish what I was saying because the Drifblim dropped us, and from what I remember, Ash crashed into a tree, the other thug landed in a lake, and I landed on the ground. Ouch. I looked up and noticed the sun was up. People came out of their homes, and Brock and Kent came out of the hotel. I saw one of my shoes flew off in the fall, which revealed a huge bruise on my foot, and Brock said, "Woah is your foot ok?" I stood up. "Y-Yeah..." I walked through the town and onto the next route. Brock ran after me, and after a lot of training, we stumbled upon a windmill that seemed to have been abandoned for years. I opened the door, and the place was crawling with Haunters and Gastlys. I think I even saw a Gengar in there. I closed the door. Brock's eyes suddenly got wide and he said, "Behind you." I looked and saw two team comet idiots talking. I walked over and tripped one, and before I knew it, they had out a Dustox and a Bibarel. Brock had my back, and sent out a Geodude. I sent out Beldum, and Bibarel hit Geodude with a strong Water Gun. Brock said he would handle Bibarel. I was up against Dustox. "Dustox use poison power!!!" Beldum dodged! "Beldum use Psychic!!!" Dustox must have been really low level, because it fainted. I looked over and saw that Geodude had fainted. Brock stepped out to heal Geodude. "Bibarel, use Crunch!" Beldum got hit hard, and was almost fainted because he had not been healed for a while. I got a little scared, because Poliwag would not be good against Bibarel. Beldum fell to the ground and it's pink eye light faded. I took out Beldums Pokeball to return him but then... a blue aura whirled around Beldum. His eye lit up and I could not see him because of the blue aura. A flash of light blinded me for half of half of half a second. All I saw was Beldum, but Beldum was not Beldum. Beldum was now... Metang! I was shocked!!! Beldum evolved! I smiled and Brock smiled too and told me to make the most of it. I did. "Metang use Bullet Punch!" Bibarel got hit twice and fell to the ground. Defeated. Brock smiled and called his Golbat, who flew us to Eterna City. I told Brock we skipped Eterna Forest, but he said that place scared him. I respected that and looked at my map. Oh! There was a gym... Sixteen inches away! I walked in and... It was beautiful! Roses, gardens, flowers... A girl with orange hair wearing Green stood on a huge lily pad in a pond. "I am Gardenia." She said. I challenged her, and all I could think about was victory. I heard my heartbeat as I threw my Pokeball. Megan's emerged. Gardenia threw a Pokeball, and a Lombre emerged. "Metang, use flame charge!" Lombre took the hit and ran right back over. "Lombre, use Drain Punch!" Meting got hit, and Lombre healed itself fully. I wondered what could do enough damage to beat Lombre in one hit... Then I remembered it could be twenty hits... I knew what to do! "Metang use Confuse Ray!" Lombre got confused and hit itself in confusion. "Ha! Metang, use Bullet Seed!" Lombre got hit four times. Gardenia looked worried. "Lombre, use drain punch!" But Lombre punched itself. Lombre fainted! Gardenia got out another Pokeball, and the Pokemon that emerged was a Cacnea. Cacnea... Hmm... Dark and grass... Bug would be perfect. Wait... Poliwag knew Bug Slap!!! I switched out Metang. "Cacnea, use Fell Stinger!" Metang fainted before I could switch. It all came down to this. "Poliwag, all out." Brock smiled from the sidelines, and I looked at Poliwag. "Poliwag use Bug Slap." I was surprised when Cacnea fainted after that hit. Gardenia frowned. She handed me my Badge, and me and Brock walked outside. We trained against a few Geodudes, some Magikarps, and some Staravias. Brock looked at me. "Wow, you beat Gardenia fast. That was three times faster then Ashes battle." I did not say anything.

Chapter 3: When Tyranitar Attacks I hate caves. Remember when I hurt my foot in that cave?
