You and Kate walk to school, chatting merrily. When you get to the school building, Kate says: "Well, we're a bit late, so I better run to the classroom. See you, Tim!" "Oh, OK!" you reply, and Kate runs off. You sigh.
As you approach the door, it suddenly opens, and you see Alan coming out.
