Note: This story, much like the ego of a starlet, is highly unstable and likely to change at any given time. Nothing is permanent. To say this story (which I began and abandoned within a month in 2010) is currently being written would be an understatement. I'd love to touch it up and actually make it readable, though, given that I had a few ideas I really liked for it...

This story is unfinished, and is not to a point in which I wish to release it to the public. However, seeing as you are here, you might as well read a bit and go to the discussion above to review the story so far.

"Jack. Jack. Wake up, Jack."

The voice rings in your ears, waking you up. You look around. It's still the same classroom, the one you've been in for what seems like an eternity. Your friend, Sarah, is standing over you, nudging you. She tells you that your science class is heading off to the natural caves to study the crystal deposits. You yawn and stand up, and see that you and her are the last people in the room. She pats you on the shoulder, and takes your backpack off the floor. You take it from her, thank her, and follow her out and to the bus loop. The light burns your eyes, but it gets them to adjust quicker. You finally see Sarah quickly. She's no taller than 5'7", you estimate. You've known her since kindergarten, and not much has changed about her. She still has her golden-brown shoulder length hair, and still dresses casually, usually wearing nothing special. Today's no different, and her straight black tee and faded jeans prove that to you.

You look across the bus. Sarah has taken a seat somewhat close to the middle of the bus. You start to move towards her, but then you notice another seat. It's also half empty, and seated in the other half is the girl you've had your eyes on for so long, Jennifer. Sarah motions towards you and points at her seat. Jennifer, on the other hand, hasn't seemed to notice you.
