“Hm…” The girly mage ponders about what to do.

He starts to pace towards you, then, taking a 180 degree turn, starts to pace back toward the tree. As he reaches the tree, he then pulls another 180, then walks toward you once more. The cycle continues for about ten more minutes. Silence fills the atmosphere of the area around the two of you.

“By the way,” you speak up, ”did you see the other two around?”

“Oh, right.” The boy points up to the sky to emphasize his following statement. “Let’s see, Xi told me to go without him, said he wanted to check out the market prices in Dunbarton first before we left. You know him, always looking for fancy new clothes to showoff in!” he laughs, “You remember when we tried to buy him a birthday present?”

“It’s not my fault he owns everything we could afford!”

Hon laughs that innocent laugh of his again, or is it more of a condescending one?

“Well, if we want to catch up with him, we should go over to Dunbarton. It’s not that far, even if we don’t find him we can always buy some stuff ourselves.”

You remember the last time Hon and you went shopping together. An utter disaster. One complete day of him trying and buying random clothes with horrible color combinations, ugly green robes that looked like moss, weird hair ornaments too girly for even you to put on, and him wasting all of his money on shoes while you tried to bargain with the shopkeeper to let him ask for a refund.

Then again, you could get yourself a new war hammer, the thought tempts you.

“And the other guy…”
