Fuck it, you think. If I had any money I'd get myself out of this place. And the liquor store wants to get paid, just like everyone else. It's not like I haven't done it, before. Besides, all I gotta do is keep Lahey busy long enough that he forgets about the eviction bullshit. That can't be hard. The man can barely remember my name, most of the time.
