I read your post and I think I've fixed the MOTDE page I posted to your satisfaction, trying to follow the rules you set up. If not, feel free to edit it appropriately. I did see the little spot on the bottom where you're keeping track of things in the edit.  Teejay

Glad you liked it. That was a lot of work to get right but it was worth it. I may or may not contribute more pages to MOTDE, but I love the story! Teejay

Anyway, I actually thought up of that alternative first. Don't know why I dismissed the idea though. Nevertheless, the signature plan is a much more efficient way to go. So, we could start the voting in around November-ish. Then closing the chance to vote in late December. On New Years Eve or Day, the winner can be announced. This won't mean that the featured story will go away. No, instead the story of the year should be a new section instead. On this section, it will have a short introduction on how to vote and why this began followed by the list of stories with their own little introduction too. Here's an example:

I want to suggest that the discussion pages of the first pages of stories used for the all time/ of the year as the vote pages. To keep voting easy, maybe only previously nominated stories could be used. See what you think.--Snowball- The Anti-Adult-Content Resistance Leader 12:37, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

But there probably is a better way to set things up than this. --Platypus 01:57, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the review of my story, and it is indeed a small group, the people whom have finished a complete story on their own. My next story is being worked on right now, and people have found it. The page is What_Lies_Beneath , and I've only got about 7 pages up. It should be going faster soon, though. After that comes working on Road_Trip (Hint hint, there's another preview for ya). Story of the Year

It's fine if the replies are late right now. I have tests going on at the moment so I barely have time to go on let alone write.

-- Story of the Year 2011! --

Introduction explaining how to vote and why this was made.
