You feel bad for Carlos and agree to help him. You shutdown your computer and text James that you’ll be tutoring a kid. You’re sure if you told him who he’d blow his top. The two of you go to his house and he leads you to his room. It’s clean and there is a desk with a computer on one side, a queen sized bed and a TV with a PS3 attached to it. You sit at the desk and get to work. About three hours later Carlos seems confident in his ability to balance chemical equations. Over the course of that time you have shifted from sitting with him at the desk to laying on your stomachs side by side on the bed.

Carlos seems almost sad to see you go. “Hey why don’t you stay for dinner? My parents won’t be home for a bit but I’m a great cook.”

You feel bad for Carlos and agree to help him. You shut down your computer and text James to let him know that you’ll be tutoring a kid. You’re sure that if you told him who you're tutoring, he’d blow his top. The two of you go to his house and he leads you to his room. It’s clean and there is a desk with a computer on one side, a queen-sized bed, and a TV with a PS3 attached to it. On all the shelves are Carlos's football trophies and sports awards. You sit at the desk and get to work. About three hours later, Carlos seems confident in his ability to balance chemical equations. Over the course of that time you have shifted from sitting with him at the desk to laying on your stomachs, side by side on the bed. He's so much bigger than you, it's sort of weird. You can feel the heat coming off his body.

“Why can’t the teachers make it this easy?” Carlos asks.

You smile and shrug. “It’s getting kinda late, I should get home.”

Carlos seems almost sad to see you go. “Hey why don’t you stay for dinner? My parents won’t be home for a bit but I’m a great cook.”
