+ | Nah, unless you´re extremely lucky I´ll have to disagree. You could be Marcelo Garcia and not be able to defeat/submit someone with a 200 pounds advantage on you if that person has grappling experience, is ripped as hell, while you´re are not. You wouldn´t be able to finish limb-locks due to the immense strenght diffrence. Chokes would just be slapped right off, and even if you where to sink a choke in I highly doubt you wouldn´t be able to generate enough power to choke someone out due to the highly developt neck muscles. | ||

I would just like to voice my disapproval at the notion of a BJJ blackbelt being defeated by a collegiate wrestler without submission training.
That is all. : )
PS: And yes I know this is a late reply.

Have we all forgotten that the Disembodied Spirit increases the victim's strength due to the fact that it is a supernatural being? Besides weight or being outnumbered isn't always a factor when it comes to martial arts. Sure she may be 125 lbs but with enough experience and training she could take on someone as big as Andre the Giant. --deadfishv

I just assumed freestyle wrestlers doesn't use any moves that could be translated into submissions in free grappling. Except maybe neck cranks or wrestling guillotines (twisters in BJJ).
Besides weight or being outnumbered isn't always a factor when it comes to martial arts. Sure she may be 125 lbs but with enough experience and training she could take on someone as big as Andre the Giant. --deadfishv
