Desperately, you struggle all night, trying to free your bound hands.

Eventually, you are too tired to continue. Reluctantly, you stop. Have you loosened your bonds even a little bit, you think?

You have to reluctantly admit that you haven't loosened your bonds even the tiniest little bit. All that effort, all that struggling, has been for nothing. You are hungry, thirsty, tired, scared, numb, sore in places, and as tightly bound as ever. You start to cry again.

Finally, you run out of tears. You've been crying quite a bit this last night, and you can't really do it any longer. You give one or two final sniffles and look around.

The booth is still dark, but realize that the light coming in through the two holes is brighter than it's been all night. It must be morning. Or maybe someone's turned on a light.

Looking at the light coming through the hole, you realize you can hear voices. You listen for a while. You can't make out what the voices are saying, but you can tell there's more than one.

After a few minutes, you decide you aren't imagining it. There are at least two people in the funhouse. They are a long way off right now, but as you listen, you realize that the voices are gradually getting closer.

You wait, eagerly, until the voices are muffled but almost recognizable. You are excited. Now, maybe you can somehow get the attention of whoever is out there. You try to think about how you can do that, and come up with several ideas. You frown as you try to figure out which one might work.

Then the voices come even closer. You think there are two men, and they are only a few feet away from you.
