Invader Zim was about an alien and his garbage trying to take over the Earth while Puny Human Scum try to stop him.
The series aired on Nickelodean but was canceled for failing to be appropriate for the targeted demographic. Cartoon Network wanted Vasquez to continue Invader Zim on Adult Swim but Vasquez stated that he did not want Invader Zim to become successful on a different channel than it started on. This makes Jhonen Vasquez is the worstest man in the universe.
