Separm

From Cores Of Makira

A race of tree people. They are the children of of the trees of Makira. They have no gender and they have a very limited range of emotions. They're eyes never open since they can see through vibrations in the ground, making them very vulnerable to flying enemies.

The Separm came into existence when Zelsai landed on the planet. Feeding off of the great tree's energy each tree on Makira developed a consciousness of their own. The elderly being too heavy to move the young Separm create an illusion around themselves and live amongst normal people.

The Separm view Zelsai as the mother and creator of them all. They also acknowledge the Ysorn as being a race of demi-deities (which they are). To the Separm the Ysorn are the caretakers of the Separm's ancestors. They will never turn down an Ysorn's request and will do almost anything to help keep them safe from the other races.
