Makira is one of the older planets in it's solar system. It's been home to civilized societies for over 10,000 years. This is just a brief overview of the important moments in Makiran history.

A giant meteorite hits Makira's moon, Raziya. A chunck breaks off of it and, as it sails towards Makira it gets caught by the Kolya's gravity It orbits the sun once. Then, as it begins it's second trip around it gets hit by a solar flare and is propelled towards Makira. It hits the ground hard and is driven into the deep into the ground.
250 ts
The Ysorn reach the point in evolution where they are no longer beasts. They walk on their back two legs, and have simplistic tools.
230 ts
The Ysorn discover the Namuh and begin to train them, at first as pets, but more and more like a civilized species as time goes on.
200 ts
The rock is eroded away and a seed, that had been kept within the meteorite now rests on Makiran soil and begins to grow.
100 ts
The sapling of the great tree is discovered by an Ysorn female named Shae. She reports this back to her people and they begin to take care of the tree.
