Zelsai
- Zelsai is the great tree of Makira, through which all magic is made and spread through out the people of Makira. Each leaf on it's branches represents a person. When a baby is born, the tree grows a leaf for them. When a person dies their leaf withers and falls off, returning to the earth at the base of the tree, keeping the soil fertile. The Zelsai tree has it's own sentient consciousness. If the tree is in need then it will send it's thoughts up through it's branches to an individual leaf or leaves on the tree. These thoughts then reach the people represented by those leaves and they either choose to answer the tree's call, or to ignore it.
