In the goods section of the port, you can see what goods the port has, what goods you have on your ship, how much of each good there is available, and how much one unit of each good costs, as well as buy and sell goods. There is also a calculator so that you can see what amounts of various commodities you can buy with the money you have.

You can only view what goods you have on your currently active ship. You can also only use the gold you have on that ship. All goods and gold will be transferred between your active ship and the port.
