Vesturhavnar Airport Vágar (often shortened to Vesturhavnar Airport) is the only international airport in Kalduroyar, and is located near the village Suðurvág in the municipality of Vágar in Fjørðoy County. The airport is meant to serve the capital of Kalduroyar, Vesturhavnar, hence the name. Vesturhavnar Airport is the only airport in the islands with regular traffic. The airport operates two runways, both pointing in a east–west axis. The longest one takes most of the public traffic, the little one takes most of the cargo traffic. Right after the end of the runways, the land hits the frothing ocean.
