The Macintosh IIfx was one of the fastest Macintoshes of its time (40 MHz). It was dubbed "Wicked Fast" by the Product Manager, Frank Casanova who came to Apple from Boston-based Apollo Computer where the term "wicked" was commonly used to define anything extreme. It sold from $9,000 to $12,000 US, depending on configuration.
