The Macintosh SE was a Macintosh first produced in 1987 and ceased production in 1990. It, along with the Macintosh II, was the first Mac to feature a built-in cooling fan and hard drive, since previous Macintoshes were designed similar to heatsinks (without a fan) and had external hard drives.
