Spark incurred its first substantial expenditures when it decided to give books to children of the CMI construction workers as a parting gesture, details of which can be checked out here.

The expenditures were as follows:

  • Erasers: Rs. 24
  • Crayons: Rs. 88
  • Pencils, sharpeners, ruler:Rs. 152
  • Notebooks: Rs. 72
  • Children's books: Rs. 524
  • Rubik's cube: Rs. 25
  • Extra books/food: Rs. 85

The total expenditure was Rs. 970.
