Club Penguin is an interactive, animated chat world created by New Horizon Interactive.

History

Club Penguin debuted on October 24, 2005. It was the fourth version of the online world originally developed by Rocketsnail Games. The first version, made in 1999, was called Experimental Penguins, followed by Penguin Chat 2 and Penguin Chat 3.

A large amount of accounts created by robots are used to make the website appear to be popular. Otherwise, it would be a lone and desolate place.
