Penguin Chat 3 was the predecessor to Club Penguin and went offline November 2005 shortly after Club Penguin opened to the public. Penguin Chat 3 is notable as you could play as a ninja, something that has not been implemented into Club Penguin

- It can only hold 100 players maximum.
- Legality issues with Club Penguin.
