[From other discussion it appears the story about cosmetically flawed R13s being sold as E&S Master Models is false -- and that cosmetically flawed R13s have been sold as Buffet Academy models.]

Indeed some E&S Master Models are rejected R13s -- and some aren't.  That according to [http://test.woodwind.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?f=1&i=268725&t=268725 this post by Vytas Krass], who also discusses the Buffet Crampon "Academy Model".

[edit] Evette / Evette & Schaeffer -> Buffet

Note on Evette / Evette & Schaeffer: Someone claims

"Plastic Evette became the B12.
Wooden Evette became the E11.
Evette Master Model became the E12.
Evette & Schaeffer became the E13.
Evette and Schaeffer Master Model is an R13 with cosmetic flaws (this one is debatable as Buffet won't give much info on this - some say it is an exceptional sounding E13 - either way it's a good clarinet)"

Indeed some E&S Master Models are rejected R13s -- and some aren't. That according to this post by Vytas Krass, who also discusses the Buffet Crampon "Academy Model".
