What is a Wiki?
A Wiki is like an encyclopedia that users can edit whenever they want. It allows for a universal knowledge on a subject that people can agree upon or take into consideration.

Now Charas-Project has their very own!

The Charas-Project Wiki covers topics from specific members to the All of All forum. You can add your own member page and create articles dealing with the forum or the main website. Some of the most viewed articles include:



Although you can edit anything and create anything, note that there are guidelines to what is accepted and what is not. Please try to keep articles in 3rd person speaking format and try to avoid anything utterly senseless.

Humor is always allowed, but try not to make it rude or meaningless.

 GAME OF THE MONTH

That's right, folks! The new CPOM will include a game of the month page, with an in-depth look at the game you chose to be featured!

"But how do I get my game chosen?"
Well, first you need to actually have a project. Then you just submit your game to the "Game of the Month" thread under the "Charas-Project Official Magazine Team" forum. At the end of one week of submissions, games will be voted on, and the winner will their game featured in the magazine, as well as an interview.

So start thinking about what games you want to see here! Be sure to send in your game and nominate others!

 Many members of the Charas Community love the new Charas-Project Wiki. But

what does SaiKar, possibly Charas #1 most known member, have to say about it?

Q. So, what are your thoughts on the new Wiki?
A. Well it's not common knowledge, but I actually had a friend of mine set up the bare-bones of a Charas wiki about four months ago. Thing was, we didn't really think anyone would want to use it and so I never released it. I am happy to stand corrected. This new project proves that even if a wiki isn't essential to Charas, it's a cool thing that lots of people can work on together on, and that's always a good thing.

Q. What are some of the pages you have made or contributed to?
A. "History of Charas" is my major project; it's currently over three times as big as any other article and still growing! I've been working on it off and on ever since the wiki started. I also made my profile page and a few descriptions of forums.

Q. What is your favorite page so far?
A. I'd be lying if I didn't say it was my history. Other than that Razor and Osmose have cool profiles and the main page itself is very professional and useful now. Osmose did a very good job there.

Q. Is there anything you would like the community to know about dealing with the Wiki?
A. I guess I'd just tell people not to get scared of the big articles. If you don't want to do a lot of back research and hunting around, it's cool. Just contribute whatever you find interesting. The more people that work on it the better it will be.

Q. Just a little off topic here, but what do you think about the new Magazine?
A. There's a new magazine? No, seriously, I didn't know. Well anyway, I'd say I always liked the magazines and wish them the best of luck. And to advertise more.

 So, you might be wondering why I, Fortet, am attempting to bring back a dead idea? Well, if you must know, I am doing it for no true reason.

I guess the idea came to me when creating the Charas Project Official Magazine Team article. The idea was excellent, but it never got anywhere. This truely saddened me and gave me several ideas.

Incase you haven't noticed, the magazine is based in the style of the forums. The 'Quick Information' table is basically a table of contents as well as a container for the Volume and Issue number. Props to Osmose for the magazine page template!

Before I am flooded with this question, yes, I am looking for people to help with the magazine. But you MUST be willing to devote at least one week a month to your article, as this will be a monthly magazine.

Current jobs I am looking for are:

Want people to know your opinion on new movies? This is the job for you.

  • -Current Events-

I hope you kow what's happening at Charas, because others will want to, too.

Just for entertainment again. Things like upcoming games, television, etc...

  • -Comic Artist (Possibly)-

This is a maybe. If you're interested, please submit a comic.

With all that said and done, I hope you enjoyed this issue and are looking forward to issue 2, coming out in mid-February if things go as planned.
