Tagging was a now gone way of anonymous trolling. After a forum update, posters became able to tag each thread twice. Although in most of the fora, this new ability was used to organize threads or something lame like that, OT users sensibly used it to make silent stabs at OP or other members or simply for spam and meme recycling. However this ubiquitous schadenfreude could not last forever; after some people complained in Site Feedback the mods disallowed anyone but the OP to tag threads.
