Threads asking for advice about girls were a major trend as 2006 came to an end. The most notable poster of such threads was Xanikk999. Some critics of this type of thread contend that an internet forum devoted to a video game is not the proper environment for users to ask for social advice. Though it seemed that the exponential growth of female-related questions would never stop, the trend has largely ended by the beginning of 2007.

The trend climaxed when Xanikk999 started a thread in which he complained that he was fired for sexual harassment. The thread was later used by MjM as an example of why girl threads are pointless in CFC.
