Eran of Arcadia (often abbreviated to "Eran") is a poster on CFC OT.
He is a Mormon and has a thread where people ask questions about his faith.
His name has several different origins: the name "Eran" was a nickname he gave himself in high school; in Sindarin (Tolkien's Elvish), it means, roughly translated, "one who walks alone". The element "of Arcadia" was added later, following the conclusion of his LDS mission in and around the ciy of Arcadia, California; the idea of putting them together stems from the TV show "Joan of Arcadia" (which he has never seen despite its star being attractive.)

Notable for his unrelenting support of God, while at the same time holding to tolerance and a general non-combative attitude (unless he's off his medication . . .)
Politics
He is a political moderate. According to the popular "Political Compass" rating used by many on CFC, he has a Economic Left/Right score of 4.38 and a Social Libertarian/Authoritarian score of -3.03; he tends to be somewhat more libertarian than authoritarian and somewhat more right than left on economic issues.
