DYOS (Draw Your Own Story) is a traditional thread (used to be in OT but now moved to Forum Games) where posters make comics and create a story. Most posters can't draw, or doesn't have a scanner handy, so the majority of comics involved random pictures from the internet cobbled into some sort of story. DYOS has had a recent resurgence over the past months due to an ongoing rivalry between Stylesrj and many of the other DYOSers, notably CivGeneral and azzaman333. Storylines are almost always incoherent, and sometimes end with a screaming match between Stylesrj and the rest of the DYOSers. To date, no DYOS thread have reach the point of completion.
DRAW Your Own Story VII
After DYOS6 was closed due to conflicts between Stylesrj and others, poster taillesskangaru created DYOS7. This new thread attracted many new posters, but the old conflict between Stylesrj and Abaddon et al reemerged. On Abaddons request the mod Mathilda split DYOS 7 into two threads, thus resulting in the creation of "Draw Your Own Story Styles". Stylesrj simply ignored the new thread, resulting in excessive flaming and spamming in the DYOS thread. Abaddon responded by creating "Member's Comic Quest I". Both DYOS7 and MCQ1 was closed (MCQ later reopened) and the future of the DRAW Your Own Story saga is uncertain.
