Depends what you mean by usufel. If you mean usufel to me here and now', no. If you mean usufel for our understanding of and development for long term manned presence in space', most definitely yes. It's purpose is to develop technology for long space missions and to put humans up there and assess the effects being in space has on a body over months or years, and ways to counter the inevitable degradation that comes from significantly lowering the amount of work your muscles need to do when you remove gravity from their daily activites.References :
