We have all heard about the familiar indices such as the Dow Jones Industrials or the S&P 500, but we dont of necessity know how they relate solely to us as buyers. An index in a helps us find a particular topic or subject within a large book, and equally an of stocks helps us to sample a much bigger group of stocks, and to understand in regards to the whole subject by watching merely a part of it.
