Maren's last name is known to be a fictitious one by many, but few if any know who he really was. There are rumors that he is much older than he lets on, but it like much of what he is given credit for, few can confirm all of it. His tenure in the Movement has been one of debate by some as far as how productive he's been. For those who are move violently inclined within the Movement, he often gains support if for no other reason than he has been credited for many gruesome killings in the past. One of the darker acts he has been accredited for is the deaths of everyone in a small town slightly west of New Orleans. What has been confirmed is that Maren is fiercely loyal to the Movement, and although he can appear to be understanding, there are many who have come to know that he takes the Movement and the matters therein very seriously.
