Cape the Porcupine is a fictional porcupine hero and the main protaganist of the Cape the Porcupine series.

Characteristics
Cape is said to be 17 years old. He is very couragoues and strong, but slightly bad tempered at times. He uses brain and brwan equally and will think before fighting, unlike his friends, e.g Racer. Cape is an orange porcupine with extremely short quills.
Motto: We fight for what's right and not to gain.
In the Series
Cape has changed a lot since the first 1990 series. Nowdays he wears an orange bandana, he has shorter quills and he's a lot stronger and wiser than before.
Relationships
With Racer
Cape and Racer are the perfect team. Racer's speed and agility with Cape's strenght and wisdom combine very well. Although they sometimes argue, they are still best friends ever since Racer's debut.
With Power Punch
Cape takes Power Punch as a sidekick. He is the oldest friend of Cape, making his debut in the first series. They never argue and when they do it's small enough to be broken up easily.
With The Piston Team (Prof X, Chimer & Spacer)
Prof X and Cape are not at all friends. Prof X is a dark lizard scientist who along with his friends father and son Chimer and Spacer from the Piston Team. They can be very cruel in their doings and only Spacer cooperates with Cape.
With Flora
Flora is Cape's girlfriend. They are often seen together and are very much in love. They absolutely never fight and they will risk their lives to save each other. But all this romance is not to the happiness of Power Punch, who thinks he is replaced in Cape's friendship.
Trivia
- Cape is porbably a north american porcupine despite his name being "Cape", a refernece to the Cape Porcupine.
- Cape is based of a 1986 video game character, Super Horace, who was an orange humanoid hedgehog.
- Cape's orange bandana was red in Cape Turbo and Cape 101.
