Cape is a humanoid porcupine with long quills (the size of them varies in games) famously wearing his trademark orange [[Cape's Bandana|bandana]].  On the left is a picture of Cape's original sprite (left of picture) and Cape's Escape from the Undergrowth sprite (right of picture).
