The Killer 7, or, The Smith Syndicate, is from the video game Killer 7. This is the only thing about the Killer 7 that isn't incredibly confusing.
Harman Smith was widely regarded as the greatest assassin in the world. More specifically, the Smith Syndicate, or Killer 7 were known as the greatest assassins.
What makes them unique is that, in fact, the Killer 7 is not a team. They are all one person. And they are not all one person. If they really were all the same person, then it would just be Multiple Personality Disorder. No. One body, in general, is shared, though under certain circumstances, more than one can exist at a time. The usual main body is that of Garcian Smith. He does not have MPD, because he actually warps and changes into the rest of the Killer 7. Different personalities, different bodies, different weapons. So, in general, shared body. But not exactly. Confusing, yes.
Here's how it really goes - the Smith Syndicate has existed in multiple incarnations. This is not to say that different groups have taken the name, carrying on a torch. No, quite literally, the members of the Killer 7 have been reseructed multiple times. In their current incarnation, they live as a strange psychic remnant entity inhabiting a body, and sometimes stepping out of it. Case in point - whenever Garcian Smith and Harman Smith inhabit the same room.
Harman Smith (Originally Harman Deltahead) was born sometime back in the 18th century, and has gone through the whole reseruction schtick more than once. His eternal enemy and closest associate, as well as favorite opponent in chess, is Kun Lan, creator of the Heaven Smiles. The Heaven Smile are grotesque monsters created to bring down the United States, and literally explode themselves when they come in contact with someone. Sometimes, the Heaven Smile are in disguise and hide as people or whatnot.
And it only gets more confusing from here.
The Killer 7 Personas
Harman Smith
The one, the original. Harman is a wheelchair bound man who is 60 years old, but is still quite fit. He can fucking move those wheels, man. He wields a sniper rifle that he has amazing proficiency with. He is, in fact, the entire Killer 7 - here's how it works. Someone dies, sometimes they become remnant personas. The Killer 7 can see these people...sometimes these people become part of the Killer 7. Kill someone, for the Killer 7, they hang around, basically. Harman absorbs these consciousnesses. So it is right to say that the rest of the Killer 7 are part of Harman, also exist seperate from him, and have had lives before being part of the Killer 7.
So. Confusing.
Garcian Smith
Garcian Smith, AKA Emir Parkreiner AKA The Bloody Heartland. In his first life as Emir Parkreiner, he was raised to be an assassin who would expand Japan's power. His final job (Due to it ending his first life and whatnot) was to kill the Killer 7. And he did a fucking KICKASS job of it, despite just being a kid. One by one he wiped them out, up until he reached the top of the Hotel...and met Harman. NEAT FACT: The school that raised Garcian to be an assassin? HARMAN WAS THE PRINCIPAL. HARMAN IS HIMSELF MULTIPLE PEOPLE. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE I KNOW BEAR WITH ME
ANYWAY. Top of the hotel where the Killer 7 was situated. It is at this point that Harman fucking ABSORBS Emir into his consciousness and Emir Parkreiner becomes GARCIAN SMITH. He is Harman's most trusted member of the Smith Syndicate. The two often have conversations. THAT WHOLE MULTIPLE PEOPLE BUT SEPERATE PEOPLE THING ONCE AGAIN
Garcian's personality is cold, professional. He goes in, gets the job done, gets out. As he says himself: "I'm a cleaner. I can show no remorse when seeing a dead body."
Garcian is the only member of the Killer 7 able to revive other members. If one member dies, so long as Garcian is around, it ain't difficult to keep the whole team going.
Garcian's primary weapon is a silenced pistol, or, the much more powerful 'golden gun'.
Dan Smith
BADASS and ASSHOLE. Seriously. Dan is a fucking dick. He's nicknamed The Hellion and is easily the most aggressive and easily pissed off of the syndicate. In his past life, he was murdered by Emir Parkreiner. Also in ANOTHER past life, he was involved in organ trafficking. He was killed after a false accusation by another member of the organ traffickers. He's goddamned powerful with a gun.
Dan HATES Harman Smith. HATES HATES HATES. He's even tried to kill him before. And yes, this is after he got absorbed into Harman himself. That goddamned messed up remnant persona thing. Stick with me.
He also once killed Coyote Smith.
He uses a colt python as his main gun. He is amazing with it.
His ability is a special collateral shot, which shoots fucking energy from his gun. In large quantities.
Mask De Smith
Luchador and easily the most benevolent and 'nicest' member of the Killer 7. He's also got the greatest amount of raw power both physically and with weaponry. He wields dual grenade launchers, for god's sake. He loves animals and children, coming quickly to their defense. In his past life, he was born in New Mexico and became a famous professional wrestler, only to be killed by Emir Parkreiner, then becoming a remnant persona fused into Harman Smith. Even after death he is recognizable by wrestling fans. He still retains all his wrestling skills.
He can also stop a bullet by headbutting it.
HE CAN. HEADBUTT. BULLETS.
Kaede Smith
Kaede Smith, AKA Barefoot, is the only female member of the syndicate (Aside from Samantha Stibbons/Samantha Smith, but she is not an assassin and not as mentionable). Kaede is always seen wearing a bloody dress and no shoes. The dress represents her final moments in her past life before being killed by Emir Parkreiner - the stains represent a traitor. She tried to run instead of warning the rest of the syndicate.
Kaede uses a Hardballer AMT with a zoom scope as her weapon, quite proficient at making sniper shots with it.
Her special ability is to SLIT HER WRISTS (!!!) which summons a demon who can destroy obstacles. She can also ABSORB blood.
Kaede is irritable, and very moody. She'll switch tones in a heartbeat, quickly becoming brash and aggressive.
Con Smith
Jack shit is known about his past life (Thank god!) other than being killed by Emir Parkreiner so we only have to discuss Con's current life with the Killer 7. Con is blind, but remains just as proficient due to his super sensitive hearing. He's also the youngest of the Killer 7, clocking in at 14. He has a youthful, often childish attitude (He loves Power Rangers styled comics and tv shows - despite being blind, wtf). He's incredibly fast - as in, he can be superhumanly fast, outrun cars and shit.
Con has a deep attachment to Coyote Smith, even often bordering on a crush on the older, Puerto Rican man. As a result, he fucking HATES Dan Smith. He uses automatic pistols as his main weapons.
Coyote Smith
Second most aggressive of the Killer 7, behind Dan Smith. Got killed by Dan once, Emir another time! It sucks to be Coyote, sometimes.
Coyote is most noticeable for being a skilled thief - he can undo any padlock (And assumedly other locks) and is incredibly athletic, known for his amazing long or high jumps. Able to reach roofs in a single leap. He uses an Einfeld revolver as his weapon.
He is closest to Con Smith, and, naturally, is protective of him. Also naturally, he fucking hates Dan Smith.
Kevin Smith
Not much is known about this tall, slouched, shirtless albino. He doesn't talk - ever. Its rumored this is because his voice can supposedly summon gods now. And he can turn invisible (And supposedly intangible)!
The only things known about his past life? Emir Parkreiner killed him (Big surprise), and Kevin had to kill the man he loved in a battle in Miami. He constantly, CONSTANTLY wears sunglasses. His weapon of choice are throwing knives.
He's also surprisingly acrobatic (Though not as much as con), able to do backflips and whatnot.
