Although very little is known about her past when we first encounter her, Naminé is an individual that has the ability to alter memories. This is done by destroying links connecting real memories and rearranging them in a fashion that alters everything that really happened. This is what the Organization uses her for, keeping her in a secluded room with only crayons and a sketchpad before her. | Although very little is known about her past when we first encounter her, Naminé is an individual that has the ability to alter memories. Naminé has one task: to rearrange Sora's memories. It isn't really known that she's the one behind it until she admits to be the one. In fact, it almost seems as if she was one of Sora's childhood friends that played along with him and Riku back in Destiny Islands — and was being held a hostage in the castle which is what drives Sora to go through the castle and even confront his rival "Riku" who isn't really who he seems to be. Upon further construction of the memories, however, Naminé begins to notice several things about Sora. One of them, and obviously the most important, is the deep affection he has for Kairi. This is enough to make Naminé jealous; since she never had anyone caring for her the way Sora did for Kairi. Therefore, the simply task of rearranging Sora's memories begin to mirror Naminé's wishes; soon enough, she's replacing Kairi with herself in several of his memories. | Naminé has one task: to rearrange Sora's memories. In the midst of this, she is convinced to betray Marluxia from Axel's part — that began to utilize her independently in order to get rid of Marluxia's tyranny. It was in this moment that Naminé realizes what she had ended up doing and stops before completing whiting Kairi out of Sora's memories. With a new sense of being and wishing to set things right, Naminé regretfully informs Sora of what was really going on and how he had never met her until that very moment. Despite knowing this, Sora still wishes to protect her and this is more than enough for Naminé, who sets out to correct all the wrongs she did concerning his memories and she pulls it through. | In the midst of this, she is convinced to betray Marluxia from Axel's part — that began to utilize her independently in order to get rid of Marluxia's tyranny. After Marluxia's defeat, Naminé leads Sora, Goofy, and Donald into another white room that contains special devices. These said devices function in a manner that will restore their original memories — the setback being that in the process of restoration, the links Naminé has formed will be destroyed. As a result, they will forget all of the events that took place in the castle, including Naminé. Sora accepts but promises Naminé that she will still be in his heart and that they will find each other again. With that and a note in Jiminy's journal, "thank Naminé," they step in and the next story begins to unfold. | After Marluxia's defeat, Naminé leads Sora, Goofy, and Donald into another white room that contains special devices. Naminé is a character from the Kingdom Hearts series, although she first appears in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and later in the second game, Kingdom Hearts II. She appears to be relatively mysterious for a while, constantly seen alone in a white room drawing away.It is later discovered that Naminé is being utilized by the Organization in order to pull off their scheme. Upon entering Castle Oblivion, Sora had his memories erased and it was up to Naminé to reconstruct them in a way that benefited the Organization. Because of her meek and frail nature, the Organization basically treated her quite harshly. Upon meeting Sora, however, it all dawned upon her and everything changed.

In the midst of this, she is convinced to betray Marluxia from Axel's part — that began to utilize her independently in order to get rid of Marluxia's tyranny. It was in this moment that Naminé realizes what she had ended up doing and stops before completing whiting Kairi out of Sora's memories. He doesn't remember her when it's all over.
While the memory restoration is going on, Naminé meets up with the real Riku. She takes on the appearance of Kairi and does her best to aid Riku in his choosing over the darkness and light; telling him not to deny that very darkness in his heart. Riku manages to see right through the appearance she took on, however, after she makes him the offer to lock away the darkness in his heart so it no longer torments him. This is an offer he refuses, to her surprise, but she agrees that this was the correct decision to make.
They team up, this time with DiZ who constructed a virtual world in which Sora's Nobody, Roxas, lives in. She isn't exactly content with the work he's doing and even goes against his orders, such as the time when she told Roxas he didn't deserve to exist but told him they would meet again; even if they didn't recognize each other. After sufficient pieces are added to this confusing puzzle, it's shown that Naminé is Kairi's Nobody. She keeps on making appearances every now and then, especially when it concerns helping Kairi flee from Axel and later the Organization who is holding her captive. In the end, Naminé does keep her promise and sees Roxas again; each from their respective Somebody.
