Native to the Western Canada region, this species of Cait has recently been transplanted on the East Coast, much to its vocal displeasure. In its native habitat, the Cait enjoys engaging in oceanside sport (windsurfing, sailing, swimming, etc.) and admiring attractive males of the subgenus mongoloid of the species homo sapiens.
The displaced Cait, however, spends most of her time running errands for her natural predator, the field journalist, and griping about said predator to another species, the Alyson, who shares a myna bird-like companionship with the Cait, often leading the wayward creature away from inevitable social disaster.
With a lifespan of 21 years (and counting), Caits are docile unless provoked with mentions of "Slytherin" or "LOST", both of which tend to draw out violent, vitriolic reactions in this otherwise amicable creature. The Cait is almost Sora-like in personality, which explains the natural affinity towards the character, as anything that makes excessive amounts of noise and flashing lights, or could be described as "shiny", is automatic entertainment-fodder for a Cait.
Caits generally make their nests from philosophical texts dating from as far back as the 5th Century, modernist sociological treateses, and obscure shonen manga.
