[21:48] Gil: Never the less thats where you are going.
[21:49] * Lkeas looks at Gil
[21:49] Lkeas: listen, we can explain
[21:49] * Hadin raises an eyebrow at Lkeas. "Oh? You seem to know something else...of course, I still don't know what going Downtown means, being so old and senile."
[21:49] Voice: No I do not think so
[21:49] Lkeas: Diviara is NO friend of ours
[21:49] Voice: It's true. I am not
[21:49] * Lkeas whirls around

[21:49] * Diviara appears as if from no where
[21:49] Voice: In fact they hate me
[21:50] * Hadin glances over at Diviara. "Now you, I think, make things even more interesting..."

[21:51] * Hadin leans against the nearest wall and watches with keen eyes.
[21:51] * Elaith looks around to see if there are any other passersby or anything of note at all since things were beginning to get a little towards the intense side*
[21:52] Diviara: "And it is after all HIS fault I arrived here"
[21:52] Diviara: "He was the one messing arround with the barriers between worlds"
[21:53] Diviara: "He is the one who opened the way by which I entered with that project of his"
[21:53] Diviara: "No it was YOU I wanted Gil"
[21:53] * Lkeas furrows her brow
[21:53] Diviara: "Because you so remind me of my own brother"
[21:53] Diviara: "And I would do nothing if not see him dead"
[21:53] Lkeas: now is not the time to be thinking of sibling rivalries, Diviara...
[21:54] Diviara: "Anyway... While I would love to cause them problems"
[21:54] Diviara: "At the moment I am more concerned that they complete other tasks..."
[21:54] Diviara: "So it behooves me to prove them right...."

[21:54] Hadin: "Nor, I think, I time for such violence.  It is...uncivilized...and there are many here who might be affected by spilt blood."

[21:55] Lkeas: listen... there is someone we need to save right about now
[21:55] * Hadin muses as he leans on the wall.
[21:57] Elaith: If it is ok with you, we would like to hurry. Time is short, as always.
[21:57] Lkeas: a fellow sojourner, if you will
[21:57] Hadin: "Time passes us by as a river in its current flows.  Even now, we squander what we have given to us..."
[21:57] Gil: "... I ..."
[21:58] Gil: "... Will let you go ..."
[21:58] * Gil looks glassy eyed
[21:58] * Gil wanders off
[21:58] Lkeas: could you help us? we need to find an organization called NOVA...
[21:58] * Lkeas watches him suspiciously
[21:58] Lkeas: that was odd..
[21:59] * Elaith chases after Gil for a second and stops to ask... * "Do you know where NOVA is?"
[21:59] Hadin: "I think..."  Suddenly, Hadin collapses, one hand clutching his heart and another his throat.
[21:59] Lkeas: Artificer!
[21:59] * Lkeas runs to his side
[21:59] Falerin: Not so odd at all.....
[21:59] Falerin: Hadin!
[21:59] Lkeas: oh no...
[22:00] * Hadin coughs several times...the feeling passing..."That...is not a good sign."
[22:00] * Elaith hearing Lkeas' cry runs back, not waiting for a reply *
[22:00] Lkeas: time is catching up with us
[22:00] Falerin: "I have been feeling pains for the past hour too.. I assumed it was the magic required to gain entry to this world"
[22:00] Falerin: "Apparently not..."
[22:00] * Lkeas looks up
[22:00] Falerin: "I can only imagine Caliban is sharing our experience"
[22:00] * Hadin slowly stops massaging his throat and moves his hand to find his cane...
[22:01] Lkeas: Falerin... you found us from Immertot?
[22:01] Lkeas: have you heard from The Traveller?
[22:01] Hadin: "That...*cough*...is indeed apparent.  Our time fails us..."
[22:01] Lkeas: he was the last person seen with Galrick...
[22:01] Falerin: "I was thrown out of immertot and back into new york. With instructions to find the traveller and find you"
[22:01] Falerin: "I have been searching since shortly after the traveller vanished"
[22:01] Falerin: "I have not been able to locate him but I did find you eventually but weekly"
[22:02] Falerin: "I used all of my power to gain access to this world"
[22:02] * Hadin shudders as he manages to stand with the use of his cane.
[22:02] Falerin: "And what little bit I had regained on the Jedi mind trick on Giliara"
[22:02] * Lkeas stoops to help Hadin up
[22:02] Lkeas: so you are powerless here?
[22:02] Falerin: "Yes"
[22:03] Hadin: "So...Falerin...does that mean even I have more power than you at this moment?  That is...very, very distressing indeed."
[22:03] * Lkeas frowns and looks around
[22:03] Falerin: "I do not know the rules of local magic... and divine magic... well lets just say falerin has little to no influence on this version of Manhattan"
[22:03] Falerin: "We are just off of Magiocracy prime directionwise"
[22:03] Hadin: "Damn."
[22:04] Lkeas: have you been given any leads? would NOVA base themselves in Magiocracy? it doesn't sound like a place they would hide..
[22:04] * Hadin coughs a few more times before feeling as best as he thinks he will. "That leaves us in a heavy bind then..."
[22:05] Falerin: "So who has the Laptop?"
[22:05] Lkeas: that is a problem... that last i saw of it it was with Randal Moonash
[22:05] Hadin: "Randal did, at last we checked..."
[22:05] Lkeas: and he disappeared rather suddenly at dinner
[22:05] Falerin: "..."
[22:05] Hadin: "...unless...?"
[22:05] Falerin: "That is not reassuring"
[22:05] Lkeas: he was only one of three registered users that i know of
[22:06] Lkeas: Wes and Genoclysm being the others
[22:06] * Hadin digs out his laptop, to see if by some miracle it had been replaced with *the* laptop.
[22:06] Wes: and Geno is not here either so that leaves me

[22:06] Falerin: "We are to place our fate in the hands of him....?"
[22:06] Lkeas: um, Wes... none of us HAVE it
[22:06] Falerin: "I am doomed"
[22:07] Hadin: "Damnit lad, if it weren't for such pressing need, you'd find yourself at the wrong end of my cane!"
[22:07] * Elaith mutters the word "again" to Lkeas *
[22:07] Wes: Hit me with your cane one more time old man and I will shove it up your butt
[22:07] * Lkeas glares at Wes
[22:07] * Hadin *does* go and smack Falerin lightly on the shin. "I'm sure as hell not going to give up, and since I know we are linked, I'm not letting you either."
[22:07] Lkeas: we don't have time for this
[22:08] Falerin: "That thing is hard..."
[22:08] Falerin: "Where did you get it"
[22:08] * Falerin rubs his shin
[22:08] * Hadin tosses his laptop to Falerin. "Check that. I don't know much about miracles, but who knows what might have...hmm? Why, David made conjured it..."

[22:09] * Falerin examines the laptop
[22:09] Lkeas: Diviara's analog in this realm..
[22:09] Falerin: "It is full of water"
[22:09] Falerin: "I am not very familiar with technology either"

[22:09] Hadin: "Well, there goes that miracle out the bloody window..."
[22:09] Falerin: "But you might as well soak the delicate workings of a Clock Work man in acid"
[22:10] * Wes goes back into the restraunt
[22:10] * Hadin tosses his cane after leaning against a wall. "Since that interests you, go ahead and take a look...meanwhile...does anyone think we might be able to persuade Esmerelda to help us? She holds *him* in high enough regard."
[22:10] * Lkeas blows air tightly through her lips and runs back into the restaurant after Wes
[22:10] Elaith: The E. family are hunters. Do you think it might be worth going in and asking them for aid? If it is in Diviara's interest to succeed, Diviara may prove to them our disassociation there as well.
[22:10] Wes: "Hey Vamps can you open a portal to another world"
[22:10] * Elaith notices Wes already gone*
[22:10] Wes: "Without biting anyone of us"
[22:11] Elaith: Too late.
[22:11] Lkeas: Wes please! be a BIT more considerate will you?
[22:11] * Lkeas looks for Jeremy
[22:11] Wes: "Sorry Lkeas I just do not wanna get bit"

[22:11] * Hadin stumbles after, leaning against the wall for considerable support, and manages to get to the entrance before slumping over. "Damnit lad..."
[22:12] Esmerelda: "Interdimensional travel is quite definitely outside of the ability of anyone on this world I am aware of"
[22:12] * Lkeas looks wearily at Mrs. E
[22:12] Hadin: "Even if you had someone with the knowledge and yet not the power at current?"
[22:12] Esmerelda: "Though returning here was most unwise. My husband will be back momentarily"
[22:12] Lkeas: i am SO sorry for his behavior... you didn't happen to catch a glimpse of a laptop around here did you?
[22:12] Elaith: Might you be able to tell us how you locate people? Hunting must be very taxing. Just really quickly before we depart.

[22:12] Esmerelda: "No definitely not"
[22:13] Jeremy: comes out from out back
[22:13] * Lkeas turns to Jeremy
[22:13] Lkeas: hi again, um... i'm not sure if i got my credit card back from you..
[22:14] * Hadin labors in his breathing. "Esmerelda, was it? What if it were Falerin who requested your aid...tactfully, I might add.
[22:14] *** Genoclysm is now known as Jeice.
[22:14] Falerin: "The senator"
[22:15] * Lkeas looks back at Falerin
[22:15] Jeremy: I am sure I did not take it at all. When Esemerelda said she would pay
[22:15] * Hadin slumps over further. "I'd be lying if I said it was the same...nay, an analog of your senator whose life is as nearly run out as mine."
[22:15] Lkeas: that's right... the senator.
[22:16] * Lkeas checks her pockets
[22:16] Lkeas: ah, my mistake. would your restaurant have a lost and found? we seem to have misplaced a laptop
[22:16] Jeremy: "We have not found anything of that sort. I cleaned your setting myself"
[22:16] * Hadin takes two steps towards Esmerelda on shaky legs before collapsing from the effort sans his cane.
[22:16] Esmerelda: "It is not..."
[22:17] * Elaith stands by Hadin and helps him up * "Use me for balance if you need. "
[22:17] * Esmerelda catches Hadin easily with one hand
[22:17] Esmerelda: "... It is not that I do not wish to aid you"
[22:18] Esmerelda: "...But I am quite sure that interdimensional travel has been barely heard of outside of rumored incursions into our world..."
[22:18] * Hadin is aided back to his feet. "Thrice damn old age, but at least I've lived a decent life. However, mine is linked to a Falerin and an innkeeper as well...is there by no means a method in this realm to tranfer power to another temporarily?!"
[22:18] Esmerelda: "...there seems to be some kind of barrier.. our world cannot access other worlds except for in breif glimpses with a possibility scope"
[22:19] Esmerelda: "Only the strongest scientists and researchers have any clue what the problem is at all"
[22:19] Hadin: "HE has the knowledge, just is drained from the efforts.  He can surely guide you, or do it himself if you can but channel power through him, I'm sure of it."
[22:19] * Lkeas nods
[22:20] Esmerelda: "My friend I am a leech not a repository"
[22:20] Esmerelda: "As much as I want to aid him I cannot direct energy into him"
[22:20] Hadin: "That is not what I meant."
[22:20] Esmerelda: "It is not within my ability"
[22:20] Hadin: "What if he could teach you the method?"

[22:21] * Lkeas turns quickly
[22:21] Lkeas: Mr. Edwards, please, let us try to explain...
[22:21] Esmerelda: "a vampire's avatar is twisted. They cannot preform magic. The Tremere tried to do it years ago and the results were abysmal"
[22:21] Esmerelda: "I cannot be taught magic either I am sorry...."

[22:22] * Lkeas frowns

[22:22] Lkeas: but we're not exactly on speaking terms at the moment..

[22:23] * Lkeas looks on in amazement at Falerin but says nothing
[22:23] * Esmerelda hmms loudly but says nothing
[22:23] * Hadin puts his hand out for his cane. "If you don't mind, Falerin..."
[22:24] * Falerin hands the cane to Hadin
[22:24] Falerin: "I do not have all day I am wanted back in Washington"
[22:24] *** Mode change "+v Jeice" for channel #epic by Falerin.
[22:24] * Hadin takes his cane, harumphs mightily, and hobbles back outside to point towards David's apartment building.
[22:24] * Jeice comes out of the restroom
[22:27] Jeice: Back to David's then?
[22:27] Jeice: Wasn't it this way?  *points*
[22:27] Elaith: And quickly.
[22:27] * Falerin follows across the street
[22:27] * Lkeas doesn't bother to wait for an answer and walks towards the apartment
[22:28] >Ambiance<: The group arrives at the building
[22:28] * Elaith dashes to the apartment immediately blowing by Lkeas on his way there *
[22:28] * Hadin hobbles as fast as his bones will take him. "By the Lord of Fire's eternal flame, I am too old for this."

[22:28] * Lkeas tries the doorhandle
[22:29] * Hadin knocks with the head of his cane.

[22:31] * Diviara Stands over David a large black blade at his throat"
[22:31] * Lkeas enters carefully so as not to cause another outburst
[22:31] * Lkeas stops dead in her tracks
[22:31] Diviara: "Good they have arrived"
[22:31] Jeice: Diviara!
[22:31] Lkeas: Diviara... what are you doing?
[22:31] Diviara: "You will AID them...."
[22:31] Diviara: "If you refuse you die.... and I will absorb your essence"
[22:32] Diviara: "Consider it just like that Jet Li... movie you were muttering about when I tried to kill your Gil"
[22:32] * Hadin hobbles inside. "Well now, this is not what I expected..."
[22:32] * Elaith nods to Diviara * "Thank you."
[22:32] David: "I cannot teleport more then myself between worlds...."
[22:32] Lkeas: that's... not quite the tactic i would use, but we are short on time
[22:32] Diviara: "You can... and if you do not.. you will die..."
[22:32] * Diviara vanishes with a bang
[22:33] Jeice: Understand David, we are not normally his allies.
[22:33] Lkeas: this is a matter of some urgency
[22:33] Jeice: We need your help.  We do not understand why this creature wishes to aid us.

[22:34] Hadin: "And for once, he seeks to help *save* someone, contrary to what you might believe."
[22:34] David: "Last time he was here he was completely inhuman"

[22:34] Jeice: Please, help us find a man by the name of Galrick.
[22:34] Hadin: "Perhaps more than one...*glances at Falerin*...though that might be hoping for too much right now."

[22:34] David: "I am afraid though what you require is a portal between worlds... and I cannot Just open that. We need equipment I do not have here"
[22:35] Lkeas: what sort of equipment?
[22:35] Hadin: "Then take us to such equipment, and by the Lords, let us hurry."
[22:35] David: "All sorts of devices... and they will take days to set up..."
[22:35] Jeice: Magic cast illegally would not help the situation I assume?
[22:35] David: "Diviara made it clear you ran out of time already...."
[22:35] * Lkeas flops down on the lumpy couch in despair
[22:36] David: "Actually it might... there is about only one feild of magic that can aid you now... and it will cost me my license and I may be put to death for it.... but....."
[22:36] Lkeas: then why is he holding a blade to your throat?
[22:36] Lkeas: he must think there's a chance
[22:36] David: "It comes down to this does it... helping an indigent goes get me killed"

[22:36] * Hadin slams the foot of his cane into the ground. "By the Lords I will not stand to ACCEPT that there is no option..."
[22:36] * Lkeas ushers everyone into the room and shuts the door behind her
[22:37] * Hadin moves to stand next to Falerin and David as swiftly as he can.
[22:37] David: "I cannot buy you much.... not much at all"
[22:37] Lkeas: come with us, David... i would not want them to hurt you for your aid to us
[22:37] Jeice: We are sorry, but this is urgent David.
[22:37] David: "What I do buy you will be a slight delay..."
[22:37] Hadin: "Son, if its power that would do anything, even if a few more seconds...I can channel what little I have to you.  I think..."
[22:37] David: "If I come with you then the death penalty is certain because of the potential paradox having two of me in one place represents"
[22:38] David: "Find me when you arrive...."
[22:38] David: "He will be able to set up the equipment by tonight.... I think"
[22:38] * Lkeas nods
[22:38] David: "Also this effect will be linked to you...and that beast so it may pull along any of you that are not here too..."

[22:39] Lkeas: what can we say to you when we get there so you do not kick us out again?
[22:39] Hadin: "Linking I understand perhaps better than most...as does Falerin..."
[22:39] David: "I only kicked you out when you mentioned my analog"
[22:39] David: "Start with the man in trouble"

[22:39] Jeice: Right, we will.

[22:40] * Lkeas looks warily at the brilhado
[22:40] David: "Messign with time may kill me with the paradox itself... but if not I will assuredly be brought up on charges... poor gil... it will come down on my family too and he is in the law
[22:40] Elaith: I'm sure Diviara would not wish to interfere with his own goals.

[22:41] * David takes out a stop watch and clicks it and all the world seems to stand still and then rapidly rewind

[22:46] * Hadin stands and brushes himself off. "True, we must hurry."
[22:47] Falerin: "We will wont be able to save all of us.... it is the three of us... or the seeker"
[22:47] * Avarie brushes herself off while muttering angrily.
