[17:57] *** Maxwell has joined #755.
[17:57] *** Mode change "+ao Maxwell Maxwell" for channel #755 by Epsilon.
[17:58] Damsel: Good day, Max
[17:58] Maxwell: It seems Seekers are getting rather lazy lately.
[17:58] Iago: Allo Maxwell
[17:58] Lkeas: Lazy?
[17:59] Damsel: You are, unfortunately, not the first to say that. Nor do I think you are incorrect.
[17:59] Maxwell: If you wish to question your tasks perhaps you should leave the ranks of her army.
[17:59] Iago: Thats a tad harsh...
[17:59] Maxwell: Your all important, but none of you are special.
[17:59] Lkeas: I wouldn't really call it laziness, but it does sometimes get frustrating to do work that is later said to be not needed.
[18:00] Lkeas: Not that we cannot glean much information from the map and the story of Nova.
[18:00] Maxwell: I do not see a map.
[18:00] Maxwell: In fact I have not even seen anyone speaking about it for a while.
[18:00] Maxwell: Even though you were all told it was important.
[18:01] Damsel: Dan, the one with the seekers, has been doing a lot of work on it.
[18:01] Maxwell: Is that really a good idea?
[18:01] Damsel: The rest of us, myself included, not nearly as much.
[18:01] Damsel: Why would it not be?
[18:01] * Lkeas frowns.
[18:01] Damsel: that is to say, why would Dan working on it not be a good idea?
[18:01] Maxwell: Perhaps your not an army at all, if one person does everything.
[18:01] Lkeas: Didn't we just have a big Q/A session to determine the names of all the stations?
[18:02] Lkeas: I'd say that was pretty recent.
[18:02] Lkeas: And that involved several people.
[18:02] Maxwell: I feel you all think you will have things given to you, if you wish to ignore your fate you can always just have your mistakes fixed.
[18:03] Damsel: I... see your point, Max.
[18:03] Maxwell: If you never figure something out it will eventually resurface and shock you.
[18:03] Maxwell: If you do not want to something, someone else will.
[18:03] Maxwell: Yet you want to keep your title as a seeker and get the praise from the rest of them as one?
[18:03] Maxwell: You are being watched, always and I have to let you know.
[18:04] Maxwell: Those watching are not very happy with what they see.
[18:04] Maxwell: And she is not happy either.
[18:04] Damsel: I understand.
[18:05] Jeice: I didn't work on the map because I'm just plain terrible with such puzzles. I'm good at interacting with npcs, not the map.
[18:05] Lkeas: Of course we don't expect answers to just be given to us, but sometimes clues are so obscure as to be passed by over and over again without a little assistance
[18:06] Lkeas: And I'm still unclear as to whether Station III is supposed to be Erra or Plejaren or somewhere else in the Pleiades or what. None of them make perfect sense to me as the third station is called "Prophet" which relates to Cor-Demi, who is from none of those areas.
[18:06] Lkeas: We're just going off of Pleiades because it starts with P
[18:06] Lkeas: But Vespiria is also in the Pleiades, so that complicates things.
[18:07] Maxwell: Perhaps, you just have to know that your all important.
[18:08] Maxwell: None of you are special or better than someone else.
[18:08] Maxwell: It is not right to look to certain people do all of your tasks.
[18:08] Jeice: I don't think that, but I not that this particular area is FAR from one of my strong points.
[18:08] Jeice: note*
[18:08] Maxwell: If you were going to be killed would you do it?
[18:09] Maxwell: Would you try to do it?
[18:09] Jeice: I would try, and fail most likely.
[18:09] Maxwell: But you would try.
[18:09] Maxwell: You do know that is why you were given the task correct?
[18:09] Maxwell: To see if you would TRY
[18:09] Maxwell: I knew you would never be able to figure out a Network star map 100 percent
[18:10] Jeice: I've tried thinking up anagrams and meanings at least.
[18:10] Maxwell: But even a small percent would have been nice.
[18:10] Lkeas: We did try...
[18:10] Jeice: As far as locations, I'm stumped.
[18:11] Maxwell: As far as they see it, you have very little to show for your trying.
[18:11] Maxwell: Of course there was nothing present to them or to myself to show them.
[18:11] Lkeas: maybe because we haven't had anybody around to show it to yet.
[18:12] Lkeas: but we did have a thread going in the forum
[18:12] Lkeas: and we thought we had a pretty good idea
[18:12] Jeice: The thread went poof.
[18:12] Lkeas: but without anybody to confirm or discuss it with, the search went stale
[18:12] Jeice: It likely got buried by foron threads.
[18:12] Maxwell: Perhaps the next time you know you are all know your given an important task you will all try harder.
[18:12] Lkeas: how does one know to keep continuing with research if one never gets any positive affirmation?
[18:12] Maxwell: That is all I can say.
[18:13] Maxwell: You are given a new task now.
[18:13] Maxwell: It is a VERY easy task.
[18:13] Maxwell: I want you to figure out where Jacob is.
[18:13] Jeice: Can we with out current information?
[18:14] Jeice: Without it being a lucky guess?
[18:14] Maxwell: I want you to tell me where you think Jacob is.
[18:14] Maxwell: I want every single truth seeker to do this.
[18:14] Jeice: I think he is in future Stonerule, unless he time traveled.
[18:14] * Damsel begins to gather information.
[18:14] Maxwell: Create a topic or something.
[18:14] Jeice: That is what I've been thinking.
[18:14] Nick: I don't think he exists in this timeline >.>
[18:14] Maxwell: Every. Single. One.
[18:14] Maxwell: And I will even tell you, this is a test.
[18:15] Lkeas: And it has to be their own opinion? As in they can't just say "I agree with so-and-so?"
[18:15] Lkeas: Or is agreement counting as an opinion?
[18:15] Maxwell: As long as they are a theory.
[18:16] Maxwell: I do not care where they think he is, I just want to see it.
[18:16] Maxwell: You have five days to post where you think Jacob is.
[18:16] Maxwell: If the results are acceptable perhaps they will show a tiny bit of faith in you all.
[18:18] Damsel: topic has been created
[18:18] Maxwell: Good.
[18:18] Jeice: Is it set in the present, or can he be in another time?
[18:18] Lkeas: aw dang, you beat me by like 2 seconds
[18:18] Maxwell: I really hope you do not fail this simple task.
[18:18] Jeice: Beat me by a second or so too.
[18:18] Damsel: you can fand it here: [1]
[18:18] Damsel: :P
[18:18] Damsel: *find
[18:18] Maxwell: Perhaps if this is too hard I can always have you tell me shapes and colors.
[18:19] Lkeas: Perhaps, your title should be modified a bit to emphasize the importance of said new task?
[18:19] Damsel: what would you suggest?
[18:19] Jeice: Maxwell, is it location only, or do we have to go by time period too?
[18:19] Maxwell: Thisi s in your hands, not mine.
[18:19] Nick: Does it matter?
[18:19] Maxwell: Do not complicate things.
[18:19] Maxwell: Just do what I said.
[18:20] Maxwell: Tell me what you think.
[18:20] Lkeas: I dunno, the average players like to click on things with lots of capital letters and exclamation points XD
[18:20] Deathbringer: xD
[18:20] Jeice: Yeah, EVERYONE READ should to it, Damsel.
[18:20] Damsel: bah
[18:20] Lkeas: and maybe put the 5 day limit in there
[18:21] Maxwell: Maxwell wants you! TO DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE WITH YOUR TIME AND USE YOUR BRAIN FOR ONCE should do it
[18:21] Lkeas: lol
[18:21] Deathbringer: That would work.
[18:21] Damsel: "Important! Seekers Needed!" Is that sufficent?
[18:22] Jeice: Everyone needed
[18:22] Damsel: there. that should work
[18:22] Jeice: Seekers is too exclusive for some of the people to think they matter.
[18:22] Damsel: "Important! Everyone Needed! 5 days left!"  :P
[18:22] Lkeas: Looks good
[18:22] Damsel: now then... to compile
[18:23] Maxwell: Just to let you know posting anything but your theory just makes you all look worse.
[18:24] Lkeas: Why is that? Discussion is not a healthy activity for a seeker?
[18:24] Maxwell: Not on that topic.
[18:24] Maxwell: Theory, or nothing.
[18:25] Maxwell: If you were told to do a test and you began to question the questions to the side instead of filling in the circles would you pass?
[18:25] Lkeas: People write notes on tests, or are often asked to show their work. There are group tests, etc.
[18:25] Jeice: We'd better make sure the others understand that too.
[18:26] Maxwell: Well good luck, but they want your thoughts and only your thoughts.
[18:26] *** Maxwell has left #755.
