- [15:23] Beware: the shadow for it is a lie. THe friendly ones lie in Egrian.
- [15:23] Zeltan: What?
- [15:23] Damsel: "Egrian?"
- [15:25] * Damsel looks confused.
- [15:26] >Ambiance<: Consider clear forever sure. An answer found on hebrew shores. The Dome and Water are the same. And so they both are alike named.
- [15:29] >Ambiance<: The score and ten approacheth fast and by that time the darkness past. But likewise my words shall thither go. So learn ye fast all you would know.
- [15:30] * Damsel appears startled. "Time is running out..."
- [15:30] *** Althyn has signed off IRC (Ping timeout).
- [15:30] Zeltan: Is he referring to the K'eld that Lorians visited recently?
- [15:30] Shade: Then what is Egrian?
- [15:30] *** Shade is now known as lightbringerlord.
- [15:31] >Ambiance<: The answer you seek is plain as day and that is all I have to say. Look to the west to flee the trap and consider now yon ancient map.
- [15:34] * Damsel pulls out her map and looks it over. "The Egrian Ocean. Of course."
- [15:35] >Ambiance<: Consider clear forever sure. An answer found on hebrew shores. The Dome and Water are the same. And so they both are alike named.
- [15:35] lightbringerlord: ((that was Shade, not LBL!))
- [15:35] Zeltan: May it see it?
- [15:35] Zeltan: ((I*))
- [15:35] Damsel: ((I have it saved, not bookmarked, I'm afraid)
- [15:36] * Zeltan ponders for a while before reviewing his own map.
- [15:37] Zeltan: ((no worries. I have the one Galrick gave))
- [15:39] Damsel: "I'm not certain what to make of hebrew shores, but it sounds like there is a Dome that shares the name of the ocean. Perhaps a Drakel city?"
- [15:40] Zeltan: K'eld Alorin seems to be a possible candidate.
- [15:41] lightbringerlord: DOn't forget that those are inaccurate.
- [15:42] * Zeltan nods thoughtfully. "Indeed, so I'm not place much hope on it."
- [15:42] Zeltan: However, we need someone who knows Drakel tongue.
- [15:43] lightbringerlord: Tralin?
- [15:43] Zeltan: Much as he is one choice, we can't just walk over and ask for a translation for 'Alorin'
- [15:44] *** Lyoko has signed off IRC (Ping timeout).
- [15:44] * Damsel ruffles through some papers.
- [15:45] Kazuma: isn't there a human that rules a Drakel city?
- [15:45] *** Althyn has joined #darkabode.
- [15:45] *** Mode change "+v Althyn" for channel #darkabode by Reality.
- [15:50] * Damsel finds a number of recent pages and begins making notes of what was said that seems to relate.
- [15:51] * Althyn whistles a jaunty tune as he polishes his hilt.
- [15:51] Damsel: "The score shall end at the score and ten. The tradgedy shall not be o'er 'ere then."
- [15:52] *** Zeltan has signed off IRC (Connection reset by peer).
- [15:52] Kazuma: well, somebody here is doing the work we need to do
- [15:52] *** Harkel has joined #darkabode.
- [15:52] *** Mode change "+v Harkel" for channel #darkabode by Reality.
- [15:52] * Damsel pulls out another sheet. "Because you have not been enough scrupulous and nice. Before the end you pay the price. Heed my words and face them sure. Or face the results forever more."
- [15:52] Harkel: Pardon me?
- [15:52] * Harkel yawns sleepily.
- [15:53] * Damsel flips to another. "The seasaw sways up and down what once happened to you has now turned around."
- [15:53] Althyn: Well, that seems obvious enough.
- [15:53] Kazuma: Damsel is peiceing together the clues we have
- [15:53] * Harkel nods to Zeltan. "I'll be going now."
- [15:53] * Harkel leaves.
- [15:53] *** Harkel is now known as Zeltan.
- [15:53] * Damsel finds one last previous mention. "Arisen are we in weary guise the darkness alone cannot disguise. The army approaches though creation denies. The fault it faces instead it lies. How then is the result to you a surprise."
- [15:54] Damsel: "And now this..."
- [15:54] Kazuma: what's on your mind Damsel?
- [15:55] Althyn: I feel another genius breakthrough!
- [15:55] * Damsel runs a hand across her chin. "I'm not sure yet..."
- [15:56] * LordBarrius sits up, having drifted off beside the tree, and stands. He brushes himself off and looks towards the abode, then heads in that direction and silently re-enters the common room, assuming a spot along the wall.
- [15:57] * Damsel puts the records side by side, including a quickly handwritten copy of the latest words.
- [15:57] Kazuma: "The fault it faces instead it lies. How then is the result to you a surprise." That's an interesting tidbit
- [15:57] * Althyn stands up, and begins to fence with his rapier in the center of the room, striking dashing poses.
- [15:58] Althyn: En Garde!
- [15:58] Althyn: Cafe ole!
- [16:00] Damsel: "Hebrew shore... hebrew shore..."
- [16:00] * Lkeas frowns as she attempts to write down the clues on yet another piece of parchment.
- [16:00] Kazuma: umm...just use Damsel's ((Just using common sense here))
- [16:01] Lkeas: ((for the Archive silly))
- [16:01] Zeltan: I don't suppose it is a Terra term?
- [16:01] Kazuma: Don't think so,
- [16:01] * Damsel stands and consults a book on terran lore, then thumps a hand upon it triumphantly. "Ah yes. Perhaps this is what it referrences. This man, Moses, led the Hebrews to escape to a sea, whereupon it parted before him..."
- [16:01] Zeltan: ((is there a record of the riddles?))
- [16:02] Kazuma: ((I know, it's just common sense to use something thats already there instead of making your own. :P ))
- [16:02] Lkeas: But... what does it mean, flee the trap?
- [16:02] Zeltan: Leading them to the Promised Lands...
- [16:02] Kazuma: sounds obvious to me.
- [16:02] Lkeas: How big of a trap?
- [16:02] * Zeltan reviews his map again.
- [16:02] Kazuma: who knows
- [16:02] Althyn: Oh, probably no larger than all of LORE.
- [16:02] Kazuma: I doubt it
- [16:03] * Lkeas frowns. "You don't think... nah, it couldn't be... the way to escape uncreation entire. That's too big a trap.."
- [16:03] Althyn: You think it IS larger? I warn you- I've the best odds on this wager.
- [16:03] Zeltan: yet there is no continent or islands in the middle of Egrian.
- [16:03] Damsel: "Perhaps... perhaps this is a more clear indication of what path we must take. It is not the nobler... This may be telling us that we must flee west, to the shores where a dome is named after the Egrian Ocean..."
- [16:04] Althyn: Heheh. Sounds very specific for a prophetic warning. Are you sure you've not taken up with evil company?
- [16:04] Zeltan: Last we heard Alorin is destroyed isn't it?
- [16:04] Kazuma: the prophacys have given clear warnings before.
- [16:04] Kazuma: we could go where it once stood
- [16:04] Althyn: Only in retrospect, my friend.
- [16:05] Lkeas: Are we sure it's named after the Egrian? It just says dome and "water.." that could be a river, a lake..
- [16:05] * Zeltan remains silent for a moment after hearing "lake".
- [16:06] Damsel: "'The friendly ones lie in Egrian...' But your right, they don't necessarily have to be connected. Though once I identified the ocean, the voices repeated the line reguarding the Dome and the Water..."
- [16:07] Lkeas: Hmm. No luck with the Hebrew shores yet?
- [16:07] * Zeltan resumes his composure. "Here says 'look to the east, and you will find your rabbit
- [16:07] *** Kazuma has signed off IRC (Operation timed out).
- [16:08] * Damsel shrugs. "There have also been repeated messages about looking to the north. However, this is the only one I have heard described with a definite time frame."
- [16:08] Zeltan: Yet the direction is different although one might say you can reach the west by going east.
- [16:08] Damsel: "And yes, I found a terran reference to something that may relate. It reguards a man named Moses."
- [16:08] * Damsel pushes a large volumne towards Lkeas. "Here, read for yourself."
- [16:09] Lkeas: The score and ten... you said a score is 20? There was something I read about 4 score and 7... could be an addition like that. 30.
- [16:09] * Zeltan uses the watch on his wrist, one that is similar to Harkel's
- [16:10] * Lkeas lugs the large volume onto her lap from Damsel. "Hmm."
- [16:10] Zeltan: I wonder if it is possible to connect to Terra's network.
- [16:10] Lkeas: You refer to the Exodus?
- [16:10] * Damsel nods. "Exactly. It is possible that it is warning us against April 30th."
- [16:10] *** Kaz has joined #darkabode.
- [16:10] Lkeas: But that... that's in three days!
- [16:10] Zeltan: Exodus...
- [16:10] Zeltan: Lkeas, I need to see the Achive.
- [16:10] * lightbringerlord yawns and opens his eyes
- [16:11] * Lkeas gestures to the satchel sitting next to the couch under the arm.
- [16:11] lightbringerlord: Can I see the terran refernce please?
- [16:11] * Damsel pauses as a possible import strikes her. "I had not realized that was another term used for it..."
- [16:11] Kaz: I must have dosed off
- [16:11] * Zeltan mutters to himself "Good thing Harkle told me about her name..."
- [16:11] Kaz: What'd I miss
- [16:11] lightbringerlord: Something will happen.
- [16:11] lightbringerlord: in 3 days.
- [16:11] Kaz: oh dear lord
- [16:12] Kaz: score and 10
- [16:12] Kaz: I should have known
- [16:12] Lkeas: Well... that's what we think it might mean.
- [16:12] Kaz: good or bad
- [16:12] * Zeltan flips through the Archive.
- [16:12] Kaz: ((I don't have my ghost script hjere))
- [16:12] lightbringerlord: Since we have learnt the date, we should think what will happen.
- [16:12] Damsel: "There is also the possibility that the "And" in score and ten is ment as a divider between the two numbers. Something that may indicate a time, such as 20:10."
- [16:13] Kaz: that's what I thouht at first
- [16:13] Zeltan: ((someone give me the latest riddle))
- [16:13] Kaz: but it's a more solid clue as the 30th
- [16:13] Lkeas: Or perhaps the 20th at 10?
- [16:13] lightbringerlord: Then we're late.
- [16:13] Damsel: "The fact that we have recieved warning about the score and ten on several days makes me think it is something more than a time, yes."
- [16:13] Zeltan: When? At Lorian time?
- [16:15] *** Kaz is now known as Kazuma.
- [16:15] *** Mode change "+v Kazuma" for channel #darkabode by Reality.
- [16:16] Damsel: "It is hard to say."
- [16:16] Kazuma: perhaps local time. couldn't be, time ha sno real meaning here
- [16:16] Kazuma: ((has no*))
- [16:16] Zeltan: Indeed
- [16:16] * Damsel passes a group of recent records with the riddles upon them to Zeltan.
- [16:17] * Althyn chuckles, and begins to grind his hilt against a whetstone.
- [16:17] Kazuma: Hand them here when you've finished, I'll copy them down so I can do the side-by-side thing Damsel did earlier
- [16:18] * Zeltan reads the riddles. "Thanks."
- [16:19] * Zeltan nods thoughtfully. "Harkel has told me about it."
- [16:22] *** Nick has signed off IRC (Suppressed: ).
- [16:24] Damsel: "What worries me is this: 'The score and ten approacheth fast and by that time the darkness past.' Does that mean by that point it's too late? Is there something that can be done now?"
- [16:25] Zeltan: There is a mention of an Army.
- [16:25] Lkeas: I'm not sure. What is it referring to by darkness, I wonder?
- [16:25] * Zeltan frowns deeply. "Does it have anything to do with..."
- [16:26] lightbringerlord: The brilhado?
- [16:26] Zeltan: No, I can't mention it here.
- [16:26] lightbringerlord: ((...))
- [16:26] Althyn: Listen, Uncreation seems to have nothing more to do with Darkness than anything else.
- [16:26] Althyn: And The'Galin's armies, or so I hear, are not composed specifically of darkness monsters.
- [16:27] Althyn: If anything, the Brihilado would still contain ties to light.
- [16:27] Damsel: "This whole passage bothers me... 'ARISEN ARE WE IN WEARY GUISE. THE DARKNESS ALONE CANNOT DISGUISE. THE ARMY APPROACHES THOUGH CREATION DENIES. THE FAULT IT FACES INSTEAD IT LIES. HOW THEN IS THE RESULT TO YOU A SURPRISE.'"
- [16:27] Damsel: ((Excuse the caps, that's how it was presented.))
- [16:27] Althyn: I am worried only by the third sentance.
- [16:28] Zeltan: The fault it faces instead it lies.
- [16:31] Zeltan: I believe the translation to Ner and Alorin is important.
- [16:32] *** Nicholas has signed off IRC (Interred: Well, goodbye untill we meet again. That should be anywhere from tomorrow untill next Saturday (today's Saturday). I'm keeping no promises.).
- [16:33] >Ambiance<: Perhaps you lack a sense of time. Your surely lack a sense of rhyme. Find your reason look herein you do not spell Egrian A-l-o-rin
- [16:34] * Lkeas scratches her head. "But there isn't any K'eld Egrian on the map.."
- [16:35] Zeltan: Yet we've been told it's not really accurate.
- [16:35] * Damsel considers. "It may not be a K'eld. We're assuming by the use of the word Dome."
- [16:35] >Ambiance<: Perhaps you have been struck by fever. Last I looked there was no Naer either.
- [16:35] Lkeas: Then why tell us to reference the map? Are we looking for something that's not there?
- [16:35] Lkeas: But yes, that's true Damsel... Dome may be something else. A mountain perhaps?
- [16:35] Damsel: "For the name of the Ocean. So we could place Egrian."
- [16:35] >Ambiance<: On the map was ocean found. That was all nothing more profound.
- [16:36] * lightbringerlord shrughs
- [16:36] Zeltan: Underwater perhaps?
- [16:36] Damsel: "Or the map is outdated."
- [16:36] lightbringerlord: *shrugs
- [16:36] Lkeas: True.
- [16:36] Zeltan: There was no record of anything under the watery depths.
- [16:36] lightbringerlord: We have benn already told that our map is the most unaccurate.
- [16:37] Zeltan: ((is*))
- [16:37] lightbringerlord: *been
- [16:37] >Ambiance<: Consider clear forever sure. An answer found on hebrew shores. The Dome and Water are the same. And so they both are alike named.
- [16:38] Damsel: "Perhaps it matters not the ocean name... but the name for dome or for water."
- [16:38] Lkeas: Again with the Hebrew shores... Where ARE the Hebrew shores?
- [16:38] * Zeltan 's face seems to light up for a moment. "This prophet call Moses. He separated an ocean, am I correct?"
- [16:38] lightbringerlord: Go on zeltan.
- [16:39] Zeltan: The Dome and Water are the same.
- [16:39] *** Fulcan-[BaseballAndKail] is now known as ALastor.
- [16:39] >Ambiance<: Lest the riddle drive you mad hearken clearly and be glad. Time shall be the greater proof by summers end you'll see the roof. But shall it spare you from your fate or will said knowledge come well too late.
- [16:39] *** ALastor is now known as Alastor.
- [16:40] lightbringerlord: Oh my.
- [16:40] Damsel: "Hmmm..."
- [16:40] Alastor: Hm.
- [16:40] Zeltan: Are we to separate Egrian for the Dome to be revealed?
- [16:42] Damsel: "I suspect this is something we will not find a definate answer to at present. Rather, we shall have to keep the words in mind and not allow ourselves to forget."
- [16:42] * Lkeas frowns. "What knowledge are we seeking here... the location of these 'friends'?"
- [16:42] >Ambiance<: Are you lax or simply failing. I cannot stand thy incessant wailing. Think you clearly think you sound and a GENESIS of an answer might be found.
- [16:43] Althyn: Ah-hah! This portent CLEARLY wants us to check the book of Revelations!
- [16:45] lightbringerlord: The book of what?
- [16:45] *** Elalena has joined #darkabode.
- [16:45] * Elalena wanders silently amongst the trees in the forest outside the estate.
- [16:46] * Lkeas shrugs and hauls open the tome from Damsel to begin researching.
- [16:47] * Damsel moves to look over Lkeas' shoulder, wishing to reference it as well.
- [16:47] >Ambiance<: Mindless babel shall kill the waith. This has nothing to do with the rabble's faith. Listen up man and check the story for therin lies an ALLEGORY. Your energy should be channeled more soundly. Or you shall suffer most profoundly.
- [16:48] * Lkeas looks over at Damsel. "Babel... did you hear the intonation of that word?"
- [16:48] Alastor: Babel?
- [16:48] * Damsel nods. "Yes..."
- [16:48] Alastor: Reminds me of one of my favourite songs: Babel Nose.
- [16:48] Zeltan: The tower?
- [16:48] >Ambiance<: Um yourself you shameless upstart of your heming and hawing I shall have no part.
- [16:49] lightbringerlord: (XD)
- [16:49] * Lkeas flips a few pages. "The Tower of Babel was built in a valley in the land of Shinar.."
- [16:49] Zeltan: Why would their God wish for un-unification?
- [16:50] Alastor: Perhaps he is as corrupt as The`Galin himself.
- [16:50] Alastor: And it's spoken as Disunification.
- [16:50] Alastor: If I recall correctly, that is.
- [16:50] >Ambiance<: The Mesopotamian Strucutre may hold some keys but the answer you can MUCH earlier see... it is in said book chapter the first..... look ye round the sixth verse. Consider clearly what is meant what James I called the Firmament.
- [16:50] Alastor: ( I'm not sure >_> )
- [16:51] * Lkeas 's eyes widen. "Let there be a dome in the middle of the waters, to separate one body of water from the other."
- [16:51] Zeltan: Firmament?
- [16:51] Zeltan: What? Let me see!
- [16:51] Alastor: Dome in the middle of the waters, as in submerged?!
- [16:52] Alastor: Nautica? Atlantis, perhaps?
- [16:52] * Lkeas shows Zeltan the passage.
- [16:52] Lkeas: (( [1] ))
- [16:52] * Damsel appears surprised, considering.
- [16:52] >Ambiance<: So here is your riddle of the dome... the hebrew shores made plain as rome. Will you still play the name, The Dome in Genesis has a name. And it is there on mountain high the answers found for the dome is in the....
- [16:52] lightbringerlord: ((What?!))
- [16:52] Lkeas: The sky.
- [16:53] Lkeas: The dome God called the sky.
- [16:53] Zeltan: Or Firmament.
- [16:53] lightbringerlord: ((:P))
- [16:53] * Lkeas points to verse 8.
- [16:53] * Damsel nods, her eyes wide. "The sky indeed."
- [16:53] Althyn: Ohhhh.
- [16:53] Althyn: My favorite element indeed!
- [16:53] * Lkeas furrows her brow. "But... dome and water are called the same? It makes even less sense now..."
- [16:54] Alastor: Wind?
- [16:54] Alastor: Althyn, you look like an earthy fellow!
- [16:54] >Ambiance<: Now turn arround and consider clear the answer shall not disappear. Your first inclination of dome is true, the unity of the dome with water is what springs anew. So look ye now for what you seek... named alike the ocean meek. In time you'll find it of this be sure.. or rue the day forevermore.
