<Falerin> A man stands at the edge of a pond.... and in that pond a pebble is tossed.. the ripples grow bigger and bigger and on the opposite side a of the pond a flood is caused.....A butterfly flaps his wings in the orient and in the mid atlantic a hurricaine begins
<Falerin> Deep philosophy and deep meaning drive the world in which we live. Expect... no thats not right....
* Falerin frowns and puts his note book down and then doubles over looking at a rippling oddness in the wall in front of him.. beyond the rippling stands a forest of emense age.....
<Falerin> NO!
<Falerin> NO NO NO!
<Falerin> NOT THIS AGAIN.... anything but this....
<>Ambiance<> Darkness Descends
* Falerin thinks "They say those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.... for me this has become true not once but twice. Why I must continuely be drawn here I do not know. The power I serve clearly has it in for me. So it begins again.. I was writing in my journal musing on the ripple effect.... when the forest reappeared. I had been in a word different from the world of my birth in every respect. A place known as earth."
* Falerin thinks "Though in fact it is one world of many parallels that use that name... and here I am again at the edge of that damnable forest...."
<>Ambiance<> You were living your lives whatever those may have been. Prisoners. Healers. Preists. Teachers. Lovers. Soldiers. Living your life and then it happened.. as you walked down that street or hallway.. the world you have always known just slipped away... there was no warning... and no turning back... just a sort of flip in your stomach and the world you always have known was gone... replaced by.... a road...
<>Ambiance<> The Road stretchest to an Inn which sits at the edge of the forest. The inn has no electrictiy and is in every respect medieval in construction.
* Falerin a single man stands outside that inn on that road.. staring into the forest with a frown

<Falerin> Begin Day 1: The Number of the Day is 2
* Murphy shakes his head stumbeling out of what can only be described as a fog of the mind
<Todd_Marshall> Look Blair, that will never... what the hell... where the hell is this?
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero slowly walks, taking in the sights while musing "Wow, they really went all out with this renaissance fair this year."
* Khatarina rubs her eyes and closes them to open again at the sight that was not there before. She was just reading a book in the library and just set it down on a table when this shift occurred.
* AtticusGenesisThanatosZero has joined #werewolf
<Murphy> Who...Where...What th hell is going on!
* Ryo stands off to the side of the road slightly, immobile, almost unnoticeable. He is wearing simply a black cloak and hood, covering his face and every part of his body. If you look closely into his hood, you can see the slight glow of his eyes.
* Crash shakes himself to try and wake himself up. The last thing he remembered was sleeping in the motel.
<Crash> What a weird dream.
* Falerin turns arround and looks at the inn and frowns starting at the chimney....
<Falerin> "Smoke..."
* Beo finishes typing a sentence, only to notice that th keyboard has dissappeared, along with the chair he was sitting on...he collapses to the ground with a small "Oomph!"
<Falerin> "It's occupied..."
* Lex is confused
* Lex stands up
* Murphy stumbles forward mumbling to himself
* Falerin enters the inn
<Prudence_Moon> How odd...
<Murphy> How in the hell... what in the hell
<Todd_Marshall> Who the hell is that guy?
<Murphy> I've been hit hard before, damn hard, I've been knocked out before, but...
* Lex who are you?
<Murphy> Oh no!
<Khatarina> ok here is aroad, I guess I need to see where this leads.
<Murphy> Am I in  coma?
<Caliban> stands at the bar to the inn polishing it though he stops in mid polish and stares at Falerin
* Todd_Marshall decides to follow Falerin
* Beo removes his glasses and rubs his eyes...replacing them, he looks out again, only to see a strange world
* Ryo chuckles slightly "Heheheh.. Free. But to where? Wherever it is, it is better than there," he mumbles to himself
<Prudence_Moon> Wasn't just in line at the market?
<Falerin> "Cal..... is that you....."
<Falerin> "Thats impossible I...."
* AtticusGenesisThanatosZero has quit IRC (Interred: �)
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero quickly dusts off whatever dirty remnants that's still on his costume before entering the inn. "Drink for a fair traveler?"
* Murphy sees smoke drifting in the distance
<Crash> Hmmm.... To the strange building or to stay here with these strangers? That's an easy one.
<Ryo> "The darkness. It is gone. Imprisonment. Freedom. I am out."
* Crash begins down the road to the inn.
<Murphy> Fi...Fire!
* Ryo raises his hands to the sky and laughs out loud
<Caliban> "Falerin I wish I could sayI was glad to see you returning to these parts"
* Lex is freaked out
* Murphy runs towards the smoke, his vision clearing he sees the chimeny of the inn and his heart settles again
<Ryo> "I see. The sun. Wind. Earth. Life."
<Caliban> "You saw me what.. die... yes well this is what it is.. and where...."
* Todd_Marshall watches the conversation with interest
<Khatarina> a distant sound of voices and the smell of wood smoke... I wonder where I am?
* Beo awkwardly gets to his feet, brushes off the dirt from his pants, and walks down the road, towards what appears to be a building
* Falerin frowns you cannot be... You were sent I made sure....
<Lex> "last i was at my house now what?
<Lex> "
<Caliban> "What? No No I am not undead.. but my work was note done so I was returned as it were"
* Murphy stumbles around, seeing people coming from all directions, all drawn instinctevly to the inn
* Prudence_Moon notices a building and begins walking towards it.
* Ryo notices the building, and begins walking toward it. But it doesn't look as though he is moving. It looks as though the world around him is moving to accomodate his wishes
<Falerin> "Ah... I know how that is..."
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero sits by a table, waiting, and whispering to himself. "I feel it's my year to win the joust! I feel it, it's in my time."
* Khatarina see a strange man walking in front of her - thinking he may know about this place she approaches Beo - "excuse me..."
<Caliban> "Yes as I recall you do.. buit I am not sure why you are here... I was under the impression you escaped..."
<Falerin> "So was I Cal...."
<Crash> How did I get here? This must be some fantasy world.
<Falerin> "So was I...."
<Prudence_Moon> I have no knowledge of this place.
* Crash continues on his way to the inn, noticing that there is no way any police could find him here.
* Falerin walks behind the bar and gabs a bottle of whiskey
<Khatarina> do you know where this is?
* Beo does an awkward turning hop as he hears words behind him...he sees someone standing there..."Oh, hello...do you live here?"
<Lex> "me?"
* Murphy wanderers over to another obviously confused traveler to this new land. He doesnt know the man but he hears him mumbeling about freedom and police Crash - Hey bud, how's it goin
<Prudence_Moon> Might as well see if anybody here can help me.
<Lex> is still confused
* Ryo arrives at the front of the inn and stops abruptly. "I see. I feel. I know they cannot get me here. No more. Life."
<Khatarina> "no?' I am sorry I just seemed to appear here - as strange as that may sound - *holds out hand* Hi I am Khatarina - call me Khat
* Murphy lifts his large hands up and cracks all ten knuckles as he approaches
* Ryo shakes his head a bit as if to clear his mind
<Ryo> "I must come back."
* Crash spins fast as somebody comes up behind him, his defenses up. He senses no danger and relaxes. "Well, it seems better then last night. Any idea where this is?"
<Beo> "You're not?  How odd...I was just on my computer, then suddenly...well, I'm here."
* Ryo opens the door and glides into the inn
<TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero> "Hey you, bartender, where be the tavern maids?"
<Murphy> Hey buddy I'm talkin to you.  You seem a bit lost too
* Ryo turns lightly
<Khatarina> well it seems like there are people there *points to Inn* who may know
<Ryo> "I hear.. Who are you?"
* Murphy walks up and places his hand on Crash's shoulder
* Falerin exits the inn again and stares into the forest
<Murphy> My friend
* Crash spins around as a hand is placed upon him. "I would prefer to not be touched."
<Falerin> "Why here of all places..."
<Falerin> "I could have ended my life yesterday and been happy"
<Murphy> No need to get jumpy bud
<Falerin> "But now I am here...."
<Beo> "Allright then...off to the building we go."
<Murphy> You look about as confused as I feel right now
* Falerin sips the wiskey
<Crash> When you come from where I do there is a need to be jumpy.
<Ryo> "Hmm. A voice. One other than my own."
<Beo> "Oh, by the way, what's your name?"
<Crash> Heh. Sounds like you don't know where we are either.
* Lex is  very much confused
<Khatarina> watches a tall figure walk out of the Inn - excuse me sir - do you know what this place is? (to Fal)
* Murphy raies his hand up
<Falerin> "The sun is setting too.... which means I came just in time to...."
<Murphy> M'names Murphy
<Murphy> You got a name friend?
<Todd_Marshall> Do you know where here is, then?
* Falerin turns and looks at Khatarina.......
* Crash extends his hand in return. "Just call me Crash."
<Falerin> "Khat....? Wait no... but so similar an analog...."
<Falerin> "God...."
<Murphy> You got some strange clothes on, where you from?  Chicago?
* Ryo watches the exchange between Murphy and Crash
<Ryo> "Hmm"
<Khatarina> yes... (haltingly) my name is Khat
<Lex> well...
<Ryo> "You're.. Talking to me?"
<Falerin> I am sorry.... um.. I am Falerin and yes unfortunately I do know where you have ended up
<Khatarina> and this is? (looks at Beo who has not introduced himself)
<Lex> "guess i should start by asking where i am"
* Murphy turns seeing someoen watch the conversation between himself and his new acquitance
<Beo> "Well...I suppose you could call me Beo.  Nice to meet you."
<Todd_Marshall> So, would you like to clue me in, Falerin?
<Murphy> Hey you, come here, join in.  We all seem a bit lost and a friend aint a bad thing to have
* Prudence_Moon feels extremely uncomfortable with her surroundings
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero waits awhile further, then bangs his sword against his shield in obvious disapproval of the establishment, then stares a bit at no one in particular before finally existing the inn.
<Falerin> I lived here for some time once... though I had escaped from it....
<Khatarina> well that makes three of us I guess - it sure seems strange - like I am in one of the books I was just reading
<Lex> excuse me some one please tell me what is goin on?
<Crash> I could use a few friends actually.
<Ryo> "Ah.. Forgive my haste.. I suppose it has been a while.. Since I have seen.. Other people.."
<Murphy> Everyone can
<Falerin> This place... is known as Immertot
<Lex> i see...
<Falerin> and it is a land of death
<Falerin> nay.. undeath....
<Murphy> Whats your name mack
<Murphy> I'm Murphy, this here's Crash
<Ryo> "My name?"
<Khatarina> Immertot - land of ...DEATH?  what is it some place where people get sick?

* Murphy extends a hand out
<Todd_Marshall> It's named after that server from the worlds greatest irc network? How odd.

<Prudence_Moon> I think I read about a world like this in, what it The Sun or Weekly World News...
* Ryo brings his hand to his forehead
<Ryo> "It has been so long since it has been spoken.."
<Crash> You do have a name don't you?
<Murphy> You gotta have somethin' we can call you

<Murphy> Good to meet your Ryo
<Khatarina> Fal, is there a reason we were brought here?
* Beo finishes the walk to the inn, enters it, and sees others talking
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero was in time to hear Falerin say "Immertot", as it sounds medieval, he quickly approaches the man fumbling with a map in his tunic with the intention of asking him to point it out in a map of Europe, which he drew himself.
* Falerin looks at Todd Shadows echo Mr.......
<Ryo> "Good to meet you too, kind sir."
<Beo> "Oh...more of us?"
<Crash> Nice to make the aquitance Ryo.
<Falerin> "...Marshall... yes ... hmmm"
* Ryo bows slightly to both of them
<Murphy> I think it would be best if we moved inside
<Murphy> Everyone else seems to be wanderin in
* Murphy begins to walk towards the door of the building
<Falerin> "Shadows Echo.., Your Network... as you call it is a peice of the collective unconcious"
<Crash> I walwayus was late to parties.
<Falerin> "A ripple"
<Murphy> So Crash, what kind a life you come from before this?
<Murphy> Obviously a bit rocky
<Falerin> "I had worked on a theory to explain it in detail actually at Oxford.... that is where I was when I was snatched back here... I had come from Hong Kong tho...."
* Khatarina follows a group of confused looking people inside the Inn, glad she had her cloak wrapped around her smock.
<TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero> Good sir, where be this Immertot on this map. This fair is very odd for not informing its participants of it's new location. How are we to dress appropriately if we don't know where it is?
* Murphy places his hand on the door knob of the inn, waiting for Crash and Ryo to catch up
* Ryo follows them into the building, and stands next to the door. He moves his head slightly, as if you examine everything in the room
<Crash> I got out of the big house a few nights ago. Been running ever since....
* Beo edges along the wall of the inn, sitting it what he hopes is the darkest corner
<Falerin> "The theory.... is that no author or writer nor any other dreamer ever dreams something new....."
* Crash thanks Murphy for holding the door for him as he walks into the establishment.
* Lex overhears these fairytales of a strange land and sits down to take in what had happened
<Falerin> "There is nothing new just the multiverse infinite and having infinite possibility"
<Murphy> I came from Boston, I'm a prize fighter, Heavy Weight
<Falerin> "And ropples connect the different shades..."
<Murphy> How about you Ryo
<Crash> Heh. Guess it's best that I'm on your good side Murphy.
<Falerin> "When an author writes he is seeing.. another place in his mind as real as his own reality"
<Todd_Marshall> Well, this is all well and good, but the really pressing questions is this: How do we get out of there and get back home. Got any ideas on that Falerin?
<Ryo> "I.. Have been in confinement. For as long as I can remember.. Only darkness.."
<Falerin> "We do not"
<Khatarina> Did you happen to author a book Fal?  I swear I have read that somewhere
<Murphy> You in some cult?
<Falerin> "Not untill the forest is ready to set us free...."
<Ryo> "What is this.. Cult?"
<Todd_Marshall> Ah, I figured you'd say that
<Crash> Guess not.
* Beo gulps at the sight of a large group of others
<Crash> What type of confinement?
<Prudence_Moon> I believe I also have heard of such a thing.
<Falerin> "If it ever decides that....."
<Murphy> You know, a cult.  A weird group a people that suck ya in and do strange things
<Khatarina> so are we all prisoners of some kind?
<Lex> "Ryo is it?"
<Falerin> "Whatever the case it is safe to say not all of us will escape this place...."
<Todd_Marshall> In that case, can i have a swallow from that bottle?
* Murphy turns and sees another figure acknowledging Ryo
<Ryo> "All I know is darkness. All-ecompassing darkness."
<Murphy> Who might you be
<Falerin> That inn was once part of a thriving village.. one I lived in.. I had family a wife and children
<Lex> how do you propose to get out of here
<Lex> i am Lex
<Falerin> The first time immertot came it took my village
<Ryo> "Yes.. That is my name.. Hello Lex."
<Murphy> Nice to meet ya lex
<TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero> I'm no prisoner, my car is just yonder of that forest, which I crossed getting here.
<Falerin> My wife and children were killed ... but they did not remain dead....
<Murphy> So Ryo, you know why you were kept cooped up?
<Falerin> Nothing stays dead in immertot for long
<Murphy> You do something bad?
* Khatarina listens to the conversations deducing that there is noone who seems to belong in this place wih the exception of the old inn keeper
<Ryo> "I cannot remember anything before my confinement."
<Prudence_Moon> How could they not remain dead?
<Crash> Murphy, Ryo, there is something interesting going on here. I think we should pay attention to what they are saying over these. Keep our ears open, ya know?
<Falerin> You will alas learn that soon enough as well....
* Todd_Marshall doesn't think Falerin is going to give him a swallow from the bottle and so goes inside the inn to get his own.
<Murphy> Yeah I heard him say "dead" something
<Murphy> He seems to know a bit more then we do
<Ryo> "Hmm."
* Murphy walks over to the man the others know as Falerin and extends a hand
<Falerin> I knew there were others..... like the one we killed.. but I did not think they would take up residence here..... And why do I think slaying this one will not be as easy as the last....
<Murphy> My names Murphy
* Beo looks nervously at the group of people...he decides that Todd looks friendly enough, and walks towards him and taps him on the shoulder
<Khatarina> so they didn't die correct?
<Falerin> "He is likely involved"
<Falerin> "My being pulled back here cannot be coincidence"
<Falerin> "this forest grabs innocents from all over.... and always has"
* Ryo stares at Falerin, trying to grasp the complexities that he senses coming from him
<Todd_Marshall> Hi there, what's your name then *looks at Beo*
<Falerin> "But grabbing me... again.... no... it cannot be an accident...."
* Murphy realizse Falerin is lost in his own thoughts and sees an older women standing off to the side and walks up, once again extending a hand
<Todd_Marshall> I'm Todd by the way
* Beo takes a small step back
<Khatarina> who is "he"? Fal?
<TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero> Sounds like a quest: to slay the evil in the forest!
<Murphy> How you doin ma'am, m'names Murphy
<Falerin> "Something is manipulating things...."
<Falerin> "His name is Morgan"
<Falerin> "And he is death...."
* Crash is listening intently to the one called Fal, and wondering what is going on.
<Beo> "H-Hello...do you know why we're here?"
* Falerin looks at the sky and frowns
<TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero> This fair may not disappoint after all! To arms my brethren!
<Falerin> "Come into the inn if you want any chance of living through the night at all
<Todd_Marshall> Not a clue, but I suspect it isnt for a good purpose. 
* Murphy tries to ignore the strange things "Fal" is saying, but he cant help feel that he isnt all that crazy
* Falerin enters the inn
<Beo> "Y-you can call me B-Beo, b-by the way."
<Khatarina> ?mee looks up into the smiling face over a foot above her head - Hi- Murphy my name is Khatrina
* Lex goes into the inn
<Prudence_Moon> That's sounds... good.
<Todd_Marshall> that guy over there *points at Falerin* seems to know more than anyone else, but he's very cryptic.
<Murphy> You got a friendly face ma'am
* Prudence_Moon scurries to the Inn.
<Murphy> Not many women tend to give me a friendly face
<Murphy> Not in my home anyways
* Khatarina follows Fal in wondering what she can do to help - and who is thei sMorgan
<Crash> I don't need to be told twice.
* Ryo walks into the inn after the others
* Crash walks into the inn not wanting to die so soon.
<Murphy> So Ma'am, Khat, you know who this guy is
<Lex> hey ryo nice seeing you here ^^
<Murphy> He's ramblin a bit, but he dont seem crazy
<Ryo> "Death.. It is welcome."
<Ryo> "Hello, again.. Lex."
<Khatarina> I have been introduced - his name is Fal and seems to know the most of our unusual predicament
<Murphy> Thats good, so as least someone knows
<TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero> Planing is good, we'll strike in the morning. Quick and deft we will be when we do so; good thinking.
<Khatarina> or nothing at all - I am unsure
* Todd_Marshall takes a another drink.
<Falerin> "Welcome to the inn... The innkeeper is Caliban is an old and dear friend...."
<Falerin> "Though I am sure both of us would have died happier having never seen eachothers face again"
<Murphy> Not much a friends then
<Khatarina> how long ago did you say this happened Fal?
<Caliban> it is not that....
<Caliban> it is that both of us know this place and what it does....
<Lex> "ryo am i dead?"
<Falerin> "Aye"
<Murphy> you talk about this "place" as if its alive
<Falerin> "We know what is comming next"
<Crash> So this place is the only location you see each other at?
<Falerin> "No it is not alive but it is sentient"
<Lex> how did i die...
* Ryo glances at Lex and points towards Fal "Listen.."
<Khatarina> care to let us in on the reast of this story Caliban?
<Murphy> Sentient?  Sorry, I'm not too good with big words
<Falerin> "I left this world... Caliban did not...."
* Falerin looks down at his feet
* Murphy leans over to Khat
<Falerin> "A drink all arround Caliban.... for old times sake"
<Murphy> Whats sentient mean?
* Todd_Marshall takes another drink
<Falerin> "Drink up my friends..... Eat and drink... for tonight one of us dies...."
* Murphy freezes
* Falerin swallows his drink and then ascends the inn staircase
<Todd_Marshall> Sounds terrific
* Beo edges behind everyone towards Falerin..."Um...h-hello...s-someone said t-that you k-know what t-this i-is?"
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero sets his sword and shield down by the fireplace before taking a seat himself. As the fire's warmth fills his body, a strange sensation overcomes him for a brief second before it quickly vanished. Not much thought was given to that as he settles in to enjoy a story by a fireplace.
* Crash takes the drink and gulps it down.
<Prudence_Moon> You seen quite certain of this.
* Murphy walks up to Caliban
<Todd_Marshall> Hopefully I'll be too drunk to notice.
<Murphy> You got an beer?
<Murphy> Dark preferabbly
* Khatarina asks for a glass of hot spiced wine to take away a sudden chill
* Caliban frowns
* Ryo sits in a seat away from the others, staring at Falerin intently
<Falerin> "he is certain ... it is less certain the sun will rise in the morrow"
* Falerin enters his room
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero leaps up speaking with vehemence, "I'll keep guard, so no one will die on my watch!"
* Falerin draws a thick stout for Murphy
<Falerin> gah
<Murphy> Thank you friend
* Khatarina desides to take her warm drink and wrapping her hands around the glass sits near the fire.
* Caliban draws a thick stout for Murphy
<Murphy> Hey, two is better
* Murphy grasps one tall tankard in each hand and drains each one as quickly as they were poured
<Caliban> ((Falerin left so he could not have drawn anything the first was in error))
<Ryo> "Death.. I would rather die than go back.."
* Caliban looks at Ryo
<Murphy> How much I owe ya for the beer
* InshouLegault has left #werewolf
<Caliban> "There are many things worse then death as you will discover soon enough"

<Crash> That's just so inspirational.
<Murphy> Worse then death?
<Todd_Marshall> I seriously doubit they take your currency here Murph
* Khatarina glances over at the swashbuckler and wonders if he is dressed for a play... hello?
<Caliban> "You owe nothing"
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero nods in agreement. "Hunger is much worse."
<Ryo> "Oh.. I fear naught. I welcome anything other than what I had.."
<Murphy> Oh, much obliged then
<Caliban> "Falerin and I ran this place as a refuge.... and that it remains.. though it will not protect you from the forest... only offer you some succor in between the death
<Todd_Marshall> Eat, Drink, and be merry tonite folks, for tonite, you may die.
* Beo hears the words of Caliban and shivers...he walks over to the corner, and unrolls what appears to be a rolled up blanket, before curling up in it and staring nervously at the other people in the inn
<Murphy> The forest?
* TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero looked quite unlike himself when he uttered those words; however that was but a brief moment before his former self returns.

<Caliban> "Immertot.... the forest...."
<Prudence_Moon> Merry is the last thing I could be tonight.
<Todd_Marshall> Always thought I'd die in the cockpit one day, but it appears it's come to this.
<Todd_Marshall> How ammusing.
* Murphy walks over to Prudence
<Crash> What is so bad about this place, and why are we here?
<Khatarina> so you are a pilot mister?....

* Lex walks around and asks if there are any rooms in available

<Ryo> "Heheheh. Joy. I have never felt this before."

<TiberiusFabiusdiviCicero> Hold sir, I need to go relieve myself. Give me 5 mins.
<Crash> Might as well. Give me a double vodka please.
<Murphy> Prudence aint exactly a normal name, mind me askin where ya from
* Khatarina sips her mulled wine and tries to make sense of what she has heard so far
<Prudence_Moon> Just an ordinary place, perhaps much like your own.
<Todd_Marshall> Alright. Assuming we're both still alive in the morning, I'll be happy to tell you all about flying fighters. But for now, I'm tired, and I'm going to bed.
* Ryo occupies himself by watching everyone in the room intently
* Murphy scratches his head
* Beo gets up once more and walks to the bar, sitting on the end, as far away from the others...

* Crash lays down, thinking about the mistakes he has made and the people he hurt. It is not long before he falls asleep and is in a nightmare.

* Khatarina slowly desends the stairs to see if there is any coffee brewing - a thick metalic taste is in her mouth
* Murphy walks downstairs and to the bar
* Robert_Kepley walks into town, as a stranger
