[16:27] * Lkeas frowns. "Not quite normal, blueman..."

[16:27] WolfLink: What will happen in the future? All we have is an Educated Guess, But then again We are very smart

[16:43] * Hadin continues to scowl and look about, displeased at this turn of events much as he had been when the other lad showed up suddenly.

[16:52] * Paladin_Of_Souls appears suddenly, as if between a blink of the eye transitioning from not existing to being present, garbed in incredible ornate ivory armor. Long silvered-grey hair flecked with gold falls in an ordered queue over one shoulder, and the irises and pupils are starlit voids among pale orbs. The rest of the features suggest androgenity, with leanings towards definitively male, and power radiates palpably from the figure.

[16:52] Lkeas: Then what is the issue? Why have you come?

[16:52] Paladin_Of_Souls: "You have done well to decipher our name from that clue, Lady. Impressive indeed."

[16:52] Dale: You... I've seen you before...

[16:52] Gilphon: ((how did you type that so fast?))

[16:53] WolfLink: ((hes a fast typer XD))

[16:53] Jeice: ((He prepared it ahead of time.))

[16:53] * Paladin_Of_Souls glances at Dale without even apparently turning. "Oh? We doubt that."

[16:53] * WolfLink sniffs the paladin of souls again

[16:54] * Paladin_Of_Souls smiles softly. "I have come for the Elder here, of course."

[16:54] * LordBarrius sits up with a frown.

[16:54] * WolfLink barks: your a grim reaper of sorts?

[16:54] * WolfLink runs infront of Hadin

[16:54] * Hadin scowls further and stands suddenly. "Ye won't be taking me easily."

[16:54] * Lkeas stands suddenly. "But why? Can't the Artificer live out his life here in peace?"

[16:55] * Gilphon decides not to get involed

[16:55] * Paladin_Of_Souls tilts their head, again without even seeming to do so. "Ah, but the sand is almost out for you, and though the manner at which the thread might be cut is unknown even to I, it remains certain that you have not time left."

[16:56] * Hadin cackles for a moment before spitting on the metal sheets next to him, which begin to instantly corrode into gases that search for his nostrils so that he might breath them in.

[16:56] * WolfLink barks: You Wont take him!

[16:57] * Gilphon stares in alarm

[16:57] Paladin_Of_Souls: "You will find that is pointless, elder. We do not mean you so much as harm as to make an offer..."

[16:57] * Lkeas looks from Hadin to the corroding metal with a small smile. "So that's what you were doing..."

[16:57] * bluemanrocks reaches into his pockets, searching for something...

[16:59] * Hadin continues breathing in the corrosive gases. "An offer the likes or Ryuusei and others, I suspect. You'll not be taking the Dragon-Touched of the Kindred so easily."

[16:59] * LordBarrius quickly forces himself to a standing position and moves himself closer to Hadin until he is nearly in front of him, accomplishing the move with neither a word nor sound.

[16:59] * Lkeas blinks upon hearing Ryuusei's name. "You equate the two? I had my suspicions but... didn't know just how venomous the Paladin might be..."

[17:01] * Hadin breathes out an acrid and foul-smelling smoke in the manner of true flame at the Paladin after shoving both wolf and LordBarrius aside, the corrosion and acid a deadly mixture that singes the skin of those nearest the emanation.

[17:02] bluemanrocks: ((Ahhh! Useless has almost as many characters as Fulcan!))

[17:02] Gilphon: ((not true))

[17:02] Gilphon: ((not even close))

[17:02] LordBarrius: ((You don't want to see my portfolio then, blue.))

[17:02] bluemanrocks: ((Yeah, I know, that'd be impossible))

[17:02] * Dale moves to stand next to Lkeas. "I really hope I don't have to put LordBarrius' teachings to use..." he says worridly.

[17:02] * Lkeas gasps and steps back quickly

[17:02] * Paladin_Of_Souls blocks the flame squarely on a gleaming metal shield, wholly unaffected and unmarred by such. "I told you that would not work, elder. Would you at least hear us out before taxing yourself further?"

[17:02] Jeice: I'm not sure we'd be able to do anything guys. I'm getting a feeling that this guy is very powerful. Be careful!

[17:03] * WolfLink rolls over barking: OW!

[17:03] * LordBarrius snorts at the shove and quickly steps himself back in front of Hadin.

[17:03] * Lkeas looks worriedly at Hadin. "Perhaps you should let him speak... don't wear yourself out ineffectively.."

[17:04] * Hadin breaks down into a fit of coughing after a full minute of breathing fire. "What...do ye want then?!?!"

[17:04] * Lkeas leans towards Ronin and wordlessly points towards the Paladin of Souls.

[17:04] * RoninOfDreams nods grimly, but makes no motion towards the Paladin. "Ah...I see..."

[17:05] * Paladin_Of_Souls sidesteps the wolf after blocking the entirety of the flame such that the wolf is unharmed by it. "You should be more careful, little one..."

[17:06] * Lkeas turns her eyes towards Ronin. "Have you run across him before? What does he want with the Artificer?"

[17:06] * WolfLink growls running to his corner turning into Link

[17:06] bluemanrocks: ((Heh, this must be hard for you Useless, playing three characters at once and all...))

[17:07] * bluemanrocks rolls his eyes...

[17:07] * Necro walks over to Lkeas. "I take it the dude over there is not exactly on the friendly list around here? Pardon me, I'm new here, so my knowledge is not up to date"

[17:07] Paladin_Of_Souls: "Now then, elder, we offer you the chance to choose a fate befitting a member of that Ronin's Kindred." He nods towards the Ronin of Dreams next to Lkeas. "A chance to return to a home among friends, among the Touched. We are Analogs, each of us, and I would make you that offer as it was once placed before Us."

[17:08] * Lkeas glances at Necro. "I'm not sure... we've never met him before, but Hadin just tried to attack him so I assume he's not someone we'd side with.."

[17:09] * RoninOfDreams sighs and whispers to Lkeas. "From what little I could discern of that being, a Valkyrie might be a more appropriate term. Yet that being walks the realms freely, much more so than I."

[17:09] * Hadin scowls at the Paladin_Of_Souls. "And the cost?"

[17:10] * Lkeas 's eyes widen. "Hadin could go home?"

[17:10] Gilphon: ((Necro: Ronin, the paladin and Hadin all done by the same person))

[17:10] KingK: pardon my intrusion but Hadin,(steps next to Hadin) is it exactly safe to have so many alternates i one realm?

[17:13] * Hadin shrugs, interpreting the question on his own. "I suspect he means now, rather than an hour or a day, a week or a month, however longer I might have before my life might otherwise end. Aye?"

[17:13] * Paladin_Of_Souls smiles anew. "Quite so, elder."

[17:14] * Lkeas scowls. "That sounds akin to suicide. Not very noble an end..."

[17:14] * LordBarrius snorts at the Paladin. "How noble of you to offer."

[17:15] * Paladin_Of_Souls tilts his head at Lkeas. "Choosing to serve a greater end is an ignoble act, Lady?"

[17:15] * Link turns back into a wolf and stand by behind the Paladin

[17:15] Lkeas: A greater end, you say? What is so great about ending his life now?

[17:16] Paladin_Of_Souls: "You percieve it as ending his life, and yet in truth it is more of a rebirth of self. You of all should know that Coherence, which is more in truth what it is, is not true death. Merely another step, and here he has a choice of doing so."

[17:18] * RoninOfDreams smiles wanly, though obviously saddened by it all. "I did say that he is more a Valkyrie than not..."

[17:18] * Lkeas frowns. "Coherence? Who would he be cohering with..."

[17:19] * Lkeas nods at Ronin. "Indeed, it does seem that way..."

[17:19] Dale: His artifice... Perhaps?

[17:19] * Hadin stares the Paladin_Of_Souls dead in the eye. "Its about damn time fer me to be moving on, I suspect..."

[17:20] Paladin_Of_Souls: "So you have chosen, elder?"

[17:21] * Lkeas does a strange hiccup of laughing and crying. "Oh gods... I'm going to miss you saying 'about damn time'..."

[17:21] * WolfLink barks at hadin: You will be missed friend!

[17:22] * Paladin_Of_Souls nods. "We thank you, elder, for rejoining with us."

[17:22] * Necro smiles. "I may not know you, but I'll offer the same tidings as the others"

[17:22] Jeice: Goodbye Hadin.

[17:22] Dale: Farewell, friend.

[17:23] * LordBarrius glances at the new entrants briefly, then turns back to Hadin. "Farewell Hadin. You will be missed."

[17:23] * bluemanrocks loosens his grip on the object in his pocket, "But..."

[17:23] * Lkeas suddenly moves towards Hadin and embraces him tightly. "Who's going to slap sense into my head, now?"

[17:23] * Gilphon wipes away a single tear which has crawl down his face

[17:23] KingK: pleasure knowing you sir really it was

[17:23] KingK: .*

[17:23] * Veterandoggy faces no one in particular. "where is hadin going?"

[17:23] * Hadin fades with a hug for Lkeas and a wave for the others, a transition that takes eternities and yet is instantaneous all the same, grumbling all the while.
