[16:13] * Useless watches the surroundings with unblinking onyx eyes as they travel [16:13] * FrogPlushie is sitting contentedly on Legault's shoulder, go figure. [16:13] Malcolm: towards the water front of course [16:13] Genoclysm: Well, I'm waiting for whoever went lat time to show me the way. [16:14] *** BigX has joined #epic. [16:14] FrogPlushie: Orrrrrrrrrr... We can go in a random direction to a random place in a random area in a random position. [16:14] * Grett walks up wearing dark brown robes with a very deep hood, shadowing his face completely. [16:15] Malcolm: that is what we did last night [16:15] Durroth: um... no? [16:15] Durroth: lets do the opposite of what the frog says at all times [16:15] Legault: I tried that, a dragon nearly ate me when I ignored it. [16:15] Deathbringer: I hope this cloak is not too out of place. Most people stare at the chains. [16:16] * FrogPlushie attempts to poke a random passerbyer. [16:17] Deathbringer: Hey! [16:18] Malcolm: Follow the Music and calls of 'come to the Festival' [16:18] Eitak_Razal: Eaiser said than done... [16:19] * Plushie-chan bends over and drops a purple liquid on a plant. It does a little jig then returns to normal. [16:20] *** Persuasion has joined #epic. [16:20] * Genoclysm frowns. [16:20] Legault: So... What way do we go? [16:20] * Nick starts walking in the direction of the sounds. [16:20] Genoclysm: This is getting us nowhere. [16:20] Deathbringer: Nope. [16:21] Malcolm: lets head toward the merchant district, that was near where the hut was [16:21] Useless: "Precisely our problem [16:21] * Legault grabs the frog and stuffs it in his cloak pocket, "Stay quiet and don't annoy people." [16:22] * Genoclysm sees Nick and starts following. "We might as well start walking somewhere." [16:22] Deathbringer: Yeah! [16:22] Adam_Hartholm: You gusy mean you don't remember? [16:23] * Grett begins slowly walking after the group. [16:23] * Legault follows after the others, ignoring the frog's insenant chatter. [16:24] * Eitak_Razal waves [16:24] Adam_Hartholm: The Festival, however, was in the commodities district. [16:24] Eitak_Razal: This is why we need a map [16:24] Selarep: What's going on here? Is this the fair that Damsel and Barrius told me about? [16:25] Little_Brown_Box: Ooh! Ooh! [16:25] Plushie-chan: We're going to a festival/Fair [16:25] * Nick continues to walk although a bit slower to stay with the group and pulls a small bottle out of his pocket. [16:25] Little_Brown_Box: I has a map! Do YOU has a map? [16:25] Selarep: So where are we at right now? [16:25] Plushie-chan: No. [16:25] * Plushie-chan points behind her, the abode is right there. [16:26] Selarep: Alright. Let me get this straight. We're going to a fair, but we don't have any idea where it is? [16:27] Deathbringer: Something like that. [16:27] Selarep: ... [16:27] * Adam_Hartholm taps his foot impatiently. "Counterfeit. Now." [16:27] Useless: "Unfortunately, it is an accurate description of events. [16:27] * FrogPlushie gets bored and vanishes. [16:27] Little_Brown_Box: Bah. [16:27] *** FrogPlushie has signed off IRC (Exterminated: When the coffee is first-rate, so is everything else. All right, let's go fight a war!). [16:29] * Grett begins slowly walking in the direction that the box suggested. [16:30] Little_Brown_Box: We're gonna have a festivity! [16:30] * Nick keeps walking his way. [16:30] Deathbringer: Aye, that we are. [16:30] * Useless continues to hold onto Lkeas' shoulder, watching as they travel [16:30] * Selarep walks in that directin [16:31] Adam_Hartholm: I'm rather surprised it isn't raining. [16:31] Selarep: (direction*) [16:31] Deathbringer: I enjoy the rain. I almost wish it was... [16:31] Malcolm: it would be nice to have some rain again [16:31] Eitak_Razal: Meh I hate the rain. [16:35] * Grett is still walking slowly behind, somehow managing to keep up well enough to see them. [16:35] Little_Brown_Box: Yeah, thinking about last night makes my circuits feel fuzzy. [16:35] Durroth: onward! [16:35] Deathbringer: Whoa... [16:36] * Adam_Hartholm takes off in the direction he percieves the voice as coming from, legs pumping. [16:36] Selarep: What was that? [16:36] * Genoclysm looks towards the voice and follows after it. [16:36] * Nick was heading that way the whole time sillies. [16:36] * Selarep shrugs and follows the voice [16:36] >Ambiance<: You find yourself at a Harker and a very small building. Strangely it seems to be in a different position along the water front [16:36] Eitak_Razal: Hmmm [16:36] Eitak_Razal: Is this the place? [16:36] * Deathbringer follows the group, his chains clanking as he does. [16:37] Malcolm: yeah, but the fact remains that he is here and the hut is here [16:37] Deathbringer: Hmm... [16:37] * Adam_Hartholm stops, breathing a little quickly after the jog. "This the place then?" [16:37] Eitak_Razal: Then wheres the fair the hut led to? [16:37] Selarep: So what's at this fair, anyway? [16:37] * Eitak_Razal looks around. [16:37] Harker: quietly "Slow evening" [16:38] Deathbringer: Ah... [16:38] Little_Brown_Box: Don't see why! [16:38] Eitak_Razal: Your greatst desires seem to come true. [16:38] * Nick stops in front of the hut. [16:38] * Useless glances at the Harker, then the hut, then the others. "Is this...what we are after?" [16:38] Eitak_Razal: Yeah [16:38] Rimblade: "And it makes us all babble. No, mind that not. We babble regardless." [16:38] * Adam_Hartholm approaches the Harker. "Good evening sir. Is this the entrance to Festival Fantastique?" [16:38] Deathbringer: Yes we do Rim. [16:38] Plushie-chan: I thought it was a fair... not a hut. [16:38] Little_Brown_Box: Shush. This is the gate. [16:39] Malcolm: oh just you wait [16:39] * Genoclysm walks to the front of the hut. [16:39] Genoclysm: Jeice felt it was safe. I want a go. [16:39] * Selarep hangs down his head "...Pavina..." [16:39] Nick: Aye I want to too... [16:39] Harker: quietly "The Fantasy is inside" [16:40] Harker: quietly "Have we those who wish to realize the future" [16:40] Deathbringer: I almost don't want to know my desire... I am content with my life. [16:40] Rimblade: "Do you wish us to enter, then?" [16:40] Nick: So I can...step inside then? [16:40] * Adam_Hartholm frowns slightly. "Hold up." [16:40] *** Persuasion is now known as Dakota_Pierce. [16:41] Adam_Hartholm: Something about this isn't sitting right with me. [16:41] Malcolm: I will go first if everyone thinks its unsafe [16:41] * Useless glances back at Adam. "Can you...clarify?" [16:41] * Adam_Hartholm chews on his bottom lip, looking intently at the harker. "Something's different." [16:41] Little_Brown_Box: No duh. They moved. [16:42] * Nick ignores Adam and continues to enter the hut [16:42] * Genoclysm frowns, growing impatient. [16:42] Little_Brown_Box: I don't see why that's a bad thing. It's obviously magical in nature. [16:42] Man: "Incoming" [16:42] Adam_Hartholm: Where? [16:42] * Useless grows silent and, perhaps tempting fate, scans the area for hostile intent telepathically AFTER hopping off of Lkeas' shoulder. [16:42] * Grett keeps his distance from the main group. [16:43] >Ambiance<: You feel a familair stomach flip [16:43] * Selarep ducks and braces his arms in front of his face [16:43] Deathbringer: Oh great... [16:43] Nick: This feeling again!? [16:46] Durroth: one sounds grander [16:46] Dakota_Pierce: "Something is vaguely familiar about this place." [16:46] Nick: Hey can I enter the damn thing or not? [16:48] Malcolm: I am Malcolm Xavier, pleased to meet you, can we get on with going inside? [16:48] * Man frowns [16:48] Man: "Cannot say I did...." [16:49] Deathbringer: Huh... [16:49] Man: "Visit the show that Matthew Johansen called more stunning than Giza and more powerful than the midnight circus" [16:49] Dakota_Pierce: "Yes... I know Dr. Jardis pretty well." [16:49] * Man points at a very small hut [16:49] * Useless remembers his own experience with Orphic, and it colors the inflections of his question. [16:49] * Dakota_Pierce enters the hut with slight hesitation [16:49] *** Eitak_Razal has joined #epic. [16:50] * Useless tilts his head and scans the inside of the hut one last time telepathically [16:50] Deathbringer: Heh. [16:51] Little_Brown_Box: I knew it! I knew there was something about you that I didn't trust! [16:51] Selarep: It's rather small for a fair. [16:51] Malcolm: just you wait [16:51] *** Plushie-chan has joined #epic. [16:54] * Little_Brown_Box squawks indignantly and goes silent. [16:55] Selarep: Who is Counterfeit? [16:55] * Lkeas shrugs at Useless. "I have little in the way of extrasensory perception, and I haven't had a prophecy in a long while... all I've learned about this Festival is from what I have archived." [16:55] Deathbringer: The box. [16:55] Lkeas: It doesn't seem to have lasting effects.. not yet, anyway.. [16:55] Selarep: That's its name? [16:55] Adam_Hartholm: Yup. [16:55] Lkeas: Except for a few of the ones who experienced it having strong desires to go inside again. [16:55] Selarep: When and where did you learn this? [16:56] Rimblade: Then why on earth do we continue talking about this? [16:56] Lkeas: We just visited yesterday. [16:56] Genoclysm: Jeice seemed rather happy when he got back. [16:56] * Lkeas smirks at the hilt. "Well, what else is there to do while we wait for the man to open the door again?" [16:56] Selarep: I meant the box's name. [16:56] Malcolm: Think of whatever you want [16:57] Deathbringer: Adam is a tech. guy at the Box's main computer... or... something... [16:57] Adam_Hartholm: The desire isn't overpowering, Lkeas. I'm just curious. [16:57] Selarep: Right... [16:57] Adam_Hartholm: I...learned some things last night. [16:57] Adam_Hartholm: I want to learn more now. [16:59] Deathbringer: I have done all I have wanted. [16:59] Eitak_Razal: Then you go in next DB [16:59] * Adam_Hartholm winces and puts a hand to his left ear, then shakes LBB. [17:05] Adam_Hartholm: Then what does this attraction represent, if not a bottling? [17:05] Useless: "Bottled...why does that remind me of something?" [17:05] Durroth: I see no reason not to go, on one hand something not bad happens, on one hand something bad happens, either way its senseless to fear or doubt. [17:05] * Nick sighs "I guess I'll enter aswell...when I can" [17:05] * Rimblade stares ahead, unimpressed. [17:05] Eitak_Razal: I don't think I am... But apperntly the hut thinks I am. [17:05] * Adam_Hartholm is obviously enthusiastically curious. [17:06] * Dakota_Pierce had previously attempted to enter the hut [17:06] * Grett waits silently and patiently. [17:06] * Lkeas chuckles. "The hut just gave you what you asked for." [17:06] Man: "Come see the show that Falerin of Dragons Blood called " [17:06] Lkeas: No matter how improbable it might have been. [17:06] Durroth: I tend not to worry what the worst that can happen is [17:06] Man: "More real then real... in an infinite universe of infinite posibilities THIS is the one I would like to see" [17:06] Legault: Who's going next? [17:06] * Useless sighs softly. "Perhaps I should choose NOT to go within..." [17:06] Plushie-chan: I'll go.
